I really liked this story. Clever idea to find a way for Gibbs to see a little of Tony's childhood. It was nice to see Gibbs getting all paternal without his usual sarcasm. Keep up the good work with your writing. You're one of my favorite authors!

This chapter was totally unexpected. Tony at ten years old. This is definitly going to be interesting. Great job as usual.

I loved it! I *totally* didn't see the ten-year-old Tony thing coming, and I love how Gibbs responded to it; seems like near-death experiences are the only things that'll get those two to open up to each other, so it was nice to see something refreshingly original. Great fic~

I don't make a habit of reviewing every chapter, because I personally find it annoying to get several semi-pointless reviews throughout, instead of one thorough review at the end, but the end of this chapter really got me. I completely forgot this was a multi-chaptered story and thought I was looking at the end of a oneshot. xDD You've no idea how relieved I was to find seven more chapters waiting for me.

Not sure if this fic is over, but it was really well written. Loved that you used 'you'll do' in this chapter, loved the context, and that you made it a compliment, which is what it really was IMHO on the show.

As usual with your stuff I really loved this. The line about no ten year old should have reason to look so terrified was heartbreaking. And Gibbs needing to pull over to take the phone call from Ducky, fearing what the news would be, speaks volumes.

I just have one question. Why was Tony disappointed at the way Gibbs signed his cast? Or was that a typo?
