Absolutely delightful!

This has always screamed out for a sequel.

Wonderful story. Hopefully one day there can be a sequel and we can see continuation of their lives and adventures. Would love to see them admit their feelings to each other.

Re-reading this after quite a few years. If ever a story was ripe for a sequel, this is the one.

I go by a new name now, but doesn't mean I've forgotten this gem of a story. It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside what with the great characterization and plot and dialogue. It's been 5 years since you completed this story, and I'm still hoping for an epilogue. I can't help but believe your John and Elizabeth one day figure it out and end up together. I am sure I'm not the only one who would be over the moon if you added just one more chapter. Put our minds (and hearts) at ease for these two lovers.

'And knowing they never would be'? What's up with that? Seriously? I beg to differ. There /will/ be a time when one slips up and they end up admitting to loving each other. There will. I immensely enjoyed this story, though the ending perturbed me a little.

Never would be? Gahk! But, no. I WILL not take that as all. It might be all that gets written, but there is more, MORE I tell you. There has to be. I really hope this isn't taken as an insult; I loved the story. I'm just put out at the ending. This is not permanently UST. The U can change to a R easily. It will be even easier than that because they've both admitted their feelings for each other, see?

Elizabeth will probably either trust the embroidery group with her dilemma. It may take a while for her to come to terms with this, but she might. If she doesn't, I bet they will guess eventually. She was saved from that question of her love life once, but she will have to eventually 'fess up. Ha! Logic, plain and pure. I'm sure those girls will help her and John get together. :) I feel better now.

Sorry about the rant, and hope it didn't offend. I'd just say take it as a good sign that your writing can elicit this kind of reaction. Thanks for taking the time to write and post.

Oh, I really enjoyed this story! Jane Austen and SGA... classic mix and great fun! :D I loved all the appearances by the different characters and the names of the places. (and the circumstances of Simon's death still make me chuckle when I think about it) Adored the AU of The Storm and The Eye, which is arguably my favorite of the mid-season two parters.

And of course, since my love of Sparky knows no bounds, their relationship was the best part. Keeping in mind the request in the beginning author's note about that, I won't beg for a sequel, I'll only say this, with the best possible meaning: you're killing me here!

OH MY GOD!.. this is so NOT complete!.. you lie!.. how can it end here?.. you have to give us a happy ending with Elizabeth and John!.. dont you think we deserve it?.. i mean the PTB's screwed us.. dont you leave us hangin too!...

Lovely story - shame it is not complete

I love these Austen inspired stories. And I'm not even a John/Elizabeth shipper.

This one seems so unfinished though but that's the way of Atlantis I guess. The series didn't seem nearly finished either.

It wasn't until I was almost through with this chapter that I realized this was greatly familiar to an episode of Atlantis that right now, the name escapes me.

This is such an amazing story! It saddens me that it's been over a year since you've updated because it definitely left me wanting more!

wow this story combines austen and sga so i have to thank you for that alone. i love what you do with the characters and i really really hope that you write another story soon!
