I love this story. I think you did the wedding very well. You captured the characters well and I couldn't stop reading.

You know what? I LOVE that Jess makes peace with Lorelai even before he meets Rory. That is a great move on his side, even if it wasn't quite intentional.

I'm re-reading, just as I said I would, and I realised I only reviewed some of the chapters the first time round.

It's a lovely prologue, and you have the readers fooled there at the end of the chapter.

"He'd been subtle, all while letting his intentions known – the Jess Mariano way." - this line? BRILLIANT!

This was AMAZING. A fantastic ending to a really wonderful story.

There are many things I loved about this chapter, but to single out some, Babette and Patty were hilarious, so was the Rory/Lane/April plot to get Jess to dance. Besides, I love love LOVED how you built up the intensity throughout. It started innocently, with the pictures, bossy Emily, glaring Jess and a Jess/Lorelai understanding (nice!), and gradually got to the insanely sexy AND cute bridge scene. I really enjoyed the combination of Seductive!Rory and Tentative!Jess. I love how he didn’t give in to her advances straight away. I loved the “You’re beautiful’s” (yay!). The “Mariano, Jess Mariano,” and “I am but your noble steed,” left me laughing so much my poor grandma whom I’m visiting now started wondering if I’m really okay.

Now I have to re-read it. And then the entire story.

I really liked the lorelai-jess conversation. I agree that it's necessary for them to get along, although I think it would be fun if they gave each other a hard time while still liking one another. You, by the way, are my life saver, I've been jonesing for a good rory jess relationship for ages! I really like it so far, and I'm sure I'll like it even more as I read on, haha
