John Smith chapter 11 . 8/11/2009 This chapter made me laugh so hard. What a beautiful depiction of these three lovable little brats getting what they've been working so hard for. I love the start with Skywarp being SO convinced that someone was having a sparkling. He didn't know who, but he knew it was SOMEONE. xDD So good. I also loved how you explained all of their colors. I'll never be able to look at these three again without going "AAW" at their colors, chosen in honor of their tight-knit friendship. Sigh. So beautiful. |
John Smith chapter 10 . 8/11/2009 Hahahahaha oh man! You can really see where Skywarp gets his attitude. Stealthshadow is at his best here! He's such a ridiculously good father (against all odds? LOLO) and his witty remarks are second to none. Daggummit I also love the, erm, tension between him and Nebula. xD It's so awesome, but not overdone at all, to make you feel like she's the typical snarky femme who bests the guys just 'cuz. *lame look at a massive portion of female OCs, and even many canon femmes* |
John Smith chapter 9 . 8/11/2009 ;-; times a million. It's so beautiful that Starscream wishes to help his mother. And it's so wretched and pathetic that his father is even willing to use her against him. It's fear that often drives abusive people in such a way. The more their subjects 'rebel,' the more desperate and vile they become. I also loved the beginning of the chapter. It really showed such a great contrast between Skywarp's family and Starscream's. Stealthshadow is abrasive, but not cruel. He's a positive influence, and a really fraggin' badaft one if I do say so myself. Fraggin'.. 1.9. LOL he's so awesome. Love him! |
John Smith chapter 8 . 8/11/2009 Thundercracker and Skywarp both reacting to Starscream's situation was touching and painful. This story is really a gorgeous lesson, and especially this chapter. You're brilliant, DC, and I truly mean that. Children so often catch onto things that parents sometimes don't even realize they are aware of. And they have a hard time dealing with them. Both Thundercracker and Skywarp know that something is wrong, but they have no way to really understand it for what it is, and thus don't know what to do about it. Man this is so sad I can't even stand it. Like I'm so happy that Starscream now has his friends, and especially that he's finally found two healthy role models to look to for guidance, but it's excruciatingly heartbreaking to see him suffer the way he is.. and the way so many real children do. ;-; |
John Smith chapter 7 . 8/11/2009 LOL THE TRAINING SCENE AT THE END IS ONE OF THE FUNNIEST THINGS I HAVE EVER READ IN MY LIFE. I sat here cracking up the entire way through. The dialog is brilliant, LOL! xD So good. Hahahahahaha er-hem, sorry! Anyway, earlier in the chapter, Starscream's ingenious design was really a breathtaking thing to behold. How fitting that he of all would be such a genius even in his youth, but feel (and actually be) so under-appreciated. It explains so much, so well. MAN YOU ARE A GENIUS. |
John Smith chapter 6 . 8/11/2009 So I think I'm in love with Stealthshadow. |
John Smith chapter 5 . 8/11/2009 ;-; Starscream. I think what makes this chapter so incredibly emotional is how painfully realistic it is. Starscream's mother is the exact image of so many mothers in the same situation. It's so sad, but unfortunately very real. The war stories at the beginning of the chapter really do a great job to act as a prelude to the terror Starscream is experiencing in his present. I also love, LOVE the way Starscream looks to TC's mother as a role model and imitates her behavior. You truly have an incredible grasp on human behavior. |
John Smith chapter 4 . 8/11/2009 LOL Skywarp's dad is so awesome. I can't even stand it! You have like the best characters I have ever read. I love the way this story is so lighthearted and cute, but maintains some very dark undertones just like things tend to happen in real life. They're really coming to light in this chapter, but you were generous enough (and a quality writer xD) to allude to them right from the start, so readers knew what would eventually come. |
John Smith chapter 3 . 8/11/2009 OMG. THUNDERCRACKER HAS A TOTAL MILF. I mean, okay, bad choice of words. I love her. I LOVE her. She's so sweet and funny, and an AERIAL WARRIOR HOW COOL IS THAT WOWOWOWOW so cool I can't even stand it ee I love you! I love how Skywarp warps away when she comes in LOL how ignoble of him xDD |
John Smith chapter 2 . 8/11/2009 HHRN THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL. The ending, where they are all shoving... SO CUTE. Man, the way TC floors them both even though he was always the quiet one. And once they got to know him, he really opened up. MAN I LOVE IT SO HARD THEY ARE ALL SO ADORABLE AND LOVABLE AND AND AND AH! These three are such.. KIDS! You really show your strength in displaying character traits and depicting them beautifully. I can imagine all of this so well in my mind as though it's completely natural! |
John Smith chapter 1 . 8/11/2009 Okay. Phew! Time to start the long review process. First off I just want to tell you that I am leaving one review per chapter because I think you deserve it, and if I'd started from the beginning, I would have left a review every time.. probably much more detailed review than these will be, too! Okay so here goes! Loved the dialog between the three little hellions. People often set up the trine with Skywarp as the unifying factor, and as far your story is concerned, it seems as though he's filled this role right from the start. It's touching! xD |
melodycass chapter 14 . 8/11/2009 i do like a story that grabs me from the start almost right from the first line, young Turks starts of slow but then all of a sudden you relise you cant turn away you have to keep reading. may be its just hows it written or the charters who knows what it is but once you read it you get hooked. each charters is wonderfully written canon or no-canon. i just want to hug and tell little screamer its ok and he's safe, tell warp off, tease TC,sit down and chat with Nebula and molest Stealthshadow. yes its dark in some places but it helps to draw the charters closer to become a family and gives building blocks to image what else could happen. its one i highly recommended to anyone who has a few hours of time to sit and read and enjoy it to keep writing DC :D |
Solar Venus chapter 2 . 5/19/2009 Omg, I'm just at the second chapter and you made them ADORABLE! :3 This is great! |
Genroth chapter 1 . 5/11/2009 I am sorry but i forgot to say your story is AWESOME :3 and i love it write moar plz thx. |
Genroth chapter 14 . 5/11/2009 Hi i am pretty new to this site, but i have written a little bit and (have some suggestions because i like Skywarp) I think his character is a little too weak for his own good. In the origonal he is a very good at fighting. (so you dont have to listen but i see that he is both stupid and weak) and usually he dominates in one-on-one but in this his fight record is 2-0. |
