The pain in his voice was so raw Gibbs had to close his eyes for a moment. Tony was already hurting over Jeanne. He didn't need to worry his team was going to reject him. They had already come too dammed close to losing him once already today. Losing faith in his ability to speak for a moment Gibbs simply wrapped an arm around DiNozzo's shoulder, letting his actions speak for him as he pulled him in under his wing. They sat in a comfortable silence, each taking solace from the others even breathing. All Tony needs to know is the team and especially Gibbs still want him. Gibbs knows he doesn't need a lot of words to tell that to Tony.

Love the ending "I love you, Boss."

"Yeah," Gibbs looked at him fondly. "I know."

"What if I make the wrong decision?"

"You won't."

Gibbs just knows Tony so well.

I really like your Gibbs/Tony bonding fics. I got hooked on this a while ago, with a fic detailing abuse Tony suffered at the hands of his 'loving' and 'caring' father. This one I liked, mainly because of the explosion. However, I don't think pizza cools that fast - unless Gibbs drove twenty-thirty minutes, in which case yeah, it most likely was that cold.

Even if you hadnt seen the episode you did awsome. You did Tony and GIbbs perfectly actualy its the first time i felt so conected with the characters. I love other writers versions of the characters but yours damn was good.

This was sweet though I wish I knew what episode this was from. I caught it in the summary but I haven't watch enough of NCIS to know that episode personally. Still new but the fan fics keep my mind going.

I just wanted to say you're an amazing author. This story amongst all your others are just extremely awesome. The way you can capture the characters and still somehow keep them in character. Not to mention your balance between dialogue and action. You are definitely going on my fav authors list.
