That could be what Sara thought about herself at that particular moment in time. The young teenager's sensitivity was very moving, and the senses of anguish, despair and helplessness brought on by the card she was dealt with were just heartbreaking.
I loved Sara because inspite of being the product of her troubled childhood, she grew up to be a principled, strong, smart, resilient and full of empathy woman. (For young girls, I honestly think she is a better role model than Catherine.)

This is so sad, but very well written... I can actually follow her mind and though it's very short you explain a lot of things about Sara's past...

I think you nailed Sara in this one. That seems to sum up her crappy background well!
