There's only one way for Shinji to end his suffering and it involves a belt, a short fall and a lot of twitching and possibly some throat clawing if he has some second thoughts. Seriously though, take my advice before it's to late...

Great story so far. I like how you're portraying people in this setting. (It's rare to have one-gender settings, rarer still for that one gender to be female, and even rarer for the author to put appropriate thought into the characters rather than just making them walking stereotypes)

Well now, we have a "fairy" and the planning of the elder Ikari... Theroy: as Gendo was obscessed with accquiring his Yui back, Yui wants Gendo back. Their methods are rather diffrent. while Gendo trys to get the power to simply dictate she was never taken in by Unit 01, Yui takes the route of simply finding another universes Gendo and... Importing him. But she could not resist at least testing the method in the hope of getting Shinji back unto the bargan. how many worlds lack their shinji ikari, or gendo ikari, because of her failed attempts? Yui does have her old goal as well I imagine, preventing humanity from being rendered extinct, by angels or a lack of genetic verity. Just how far down does the rabbit hole go?

More to the point, how will the world play out once the Angel War goes into full swing? oh, and what ever happend to Tabris?

Being sent to a world by that fairy where he's the only male.

Very interesting that Second Impact was responsible for making this world only populated by females.

To think Gendo's the one to have gotten trapped within Unit 01 instead of Yui.

It was so touching the reunion of Shinji and his mother even if she's an other-world counterpart.

And I can't get over how this Rei of this world is like with just what was shown here.

Not to mention she's Shinji's sister.

Both things about her I like very much.
