Oh, wow! I am a huge Harry/Ginny fan and this is so in-character, so simple yet so eloquent. I love the scene of Harry & Ginny playing chess and her catching him looking at her in a new and speculative way. You seem to be a Marauder era writer, but you really should write more Harry/Ginny stories. So few writers do these well, but you caught them perfectly. Another one for my favorites list. Well done!
