A little spanking never hurt anybody? What a ridiculous notion. Again, I feel so exasperated at the myth you keep perpetuating in this story. Sigh.

I had a similar problem with questions of science. You clearly don't know how to deal with serious issues and you keep perpetuating fallacies. I had a huge problem with how Hermione approached Narcissa's PTSD problems. Maybe you should write on something you are actually knowledgeable about. Your ignorance and biases show through and it brings down the quality of the story, which is otherwise very well written and humourous.

Honestly for someone who claims to be so learned on early childhood education, she sure isn't as dismissive of spanking as she should be. There is absolutely no doubt in psychology literature that using violence against your child has negative consequences for their mental development. It reinforces an idea that using violence on someone weaker is justified. When a child so small is subjected to such violence to which they have absolutely no chance of fighting back, it leads to unwanted consequences for their moral and social upbringing. I am actually really disappointed at how lightly such violence has been portrayed and such misinformation allowed to persist.

Thank you for writing and sharing such a sweet and heartwarming story! While Draco was a little OOC for being too sweet, it totally worked for the development of the plot. Your story has a modern day fairy tale quality about it that just kept me smiling and laughing throughout.

I’m not sure you still check reviews but I love this story. I read the whole thing in 4 days and sacrificed a good deal of peaceful sleep because I couldn’t wait to read what would happen next. H&D’s relationship seemed to happen very organically and for the most part they were in character.

I was only thrown off by Hermione’s willingness to have sex so soon after being assaulted. As a person who has endured assault, I can assure you no normal woman would want to be touched, let alone have sex. I had to suspend disbelief and pretend that a good deal of time had passed between the attempted rape and her encounter with Draco.

Also the spanking bothered me. I was spanked a child and really I don’t feel traumatized by it, but I do believe there are better ways to discipline a child. I don’t think Hermione would defend corporal punishment.

Other than those two things, this story was definitely one of the best I’ve ever read with this pairing. I hope you continue to write and one day find success with an original story! Thanks again for writing this!
