Cute story. Definitely make them fight a little more first. Maybe Mike could take the breakup badly & look like he's going to hit her or something and Edward could intercede. Then Bella would have to be somewhat grateful and it could get them started talking friendlier. Of course Alice needs to befriend her too cause she sounds badly in need of a makeover. Your writing is great so you can really drag this out for awhile.
