| Thorny Hedge chapter 1 . 11/26/2007
This was wonderful and sweet. Really reinforced the brotherly bond and their love.
| TammiTam chapter 1 . 11/26/2007
Awesome story! I really liked the ending. You gave the brothers something most don't ... and that's realism. Most make Sam so weak he cries at everything, and Dean so strong he could face 20 demons alone ... but you ... you nailed it on the head. Great job.

Oh that was just fabulous! I think you never see Dean as scared or as vulnerable as when Sam's hurt. Loved the way he told Sam the story about Mom and Dad, but then immediately followed that up with the snark about everyone mistaking Sam for a girl! (And to be honest, yeah Baby Sammy in the pilot really did look like a girl!) You captured Dean's sense of panic really well here too.

Love completed one shots. The ending was perfect.
| Enkidu07 chapter 1 . 11/25/2007
Great story! Poor Sam. I love your sarcasm-
“I’m okay now. Let’s go.” It’s very convincing, what with the instantly colorless face as he tries to sit up further."
Even in his thoughts, Dean is a wise-ass. Of course, I mean that in the most loving, I think he is beautiful way :)
| bb1028 chapter 1 . 11/25/2007

| sammygirl1963 chapter 1 . 11/25/2007
Awesome oneshot of DEan taking care of Sammy the only way he knows how and doing his best to keep his brother conscious by using memories!

Damn it! That's the kind of stuff that Dean and John NEEDED to tell Sam when he was younger. He never got the chance to know his mom, so she wasn't "real" to him other than the fact that "Your mother was Mary Winchester, she died on November 2nd 1983 above your crib on the ceiling with her stomach sliced before being set on fire by a demon." This kind of stuff shouldn't be bottled up and kept from family members, especially in cases like Sam's where they never got to know their other parent.
