And the vengeance-seeking side of me really would like to have seen something with Snape. But I dunno if it would really have worked with the "dismissive" way you treated Dumbledore at the story's end.

The US military units would say "If you're not cheating, you're not trying!" so taking them out with weapons they refuse to even cosider is the perfect combination of insult and injury.

Also, in war there are no rules except win, and fighting the enemy should be a case of "Clubbing baby seals" if possible.

Or as attributed to General Patton, probably wrongly..."We don't want you to die for your country. Your job is to make the other poor, dumb, sone of a b*h die for HIS country."

The sniper role, however, is a perfect choice as it avoids the impracticalities of swatting a fly with a tactical nuclear weapon, although I'm sure the British military would have gladly used a pony nuke on Voldemort if they had known where to find him. Or at least a brace of cluster munitions.

its good, but giving and Hermoine a happy ending and Ginny not dead ruins the effect somewhat, but i guess thats just my opinion.

Cool fic, love the idea. Although I would probably go for a lot more bashing; Dursleys, Ol goatf*cker, Ron "I'm-so-jealous" and Hermione "I-know-it-all", along with the rest. Ah well, good stuff, my commendations.
