a good one..

Quite a good one shot there. Two things stood out for me, Harry's dismissal of Dumbledore and discovering that Draco was the Death Eater (wannabe) that Harry only wounded. Reminded me of the last part of a Louis L'mour book set in modern time where a russian wanted to hunt an indian who happened to be in the US military. He lost track of him in siberia and sent a tracker after him. Several weeks late he got a package with the trackers scalp and a note which I think said I'm coming for you or You'll never know when. That russian's mindset fits with what I would expect Draco's would be.

All and all a good tale.

I loved it. To tell the truth i think you could have easily made this one shot into a vary large story, I do not see to many other stories were Harry leaves the wizarding world and joins the military. I think that that idea has a lot of merit and hope you make another story with a similar idea. The only other story i have come a crossed that has Harry joining the military is (Old Soldiers Never Die by Rorschach's)and I loved it. well anyways i loved the story and look forward to seeing what ells you will produce.

Smiles, that was a funny omake. Poor Draco, kid can't catch a break. He's probably wondering why Harry always manages to screw up his plans. I mean in this situation Harry even managed to drop out of the sky, even though he'd left the wizarding world, just to screw up Draco's initiation.

Very nice fic, I have to admit I'm also curious about the reaction you'll get as well. But I enjoyed it at any rate.

The introduction is somewhat confused, simplify!

Tense switches randomly between past and present, pluperfect and not.

Plot holes include: Kreacher, horcruxes, Voldemort's immortality, and how Kingsley knew what Harry had done..

"Whilst" is way, WAY overused here. Even true Limeys don't abuse this archaic form that much. Repetition, repeating yourself, and regurgitating the same cutesy/improper word (all over again) is poor style and annoying, to boot.

Still, it is always satisfying to read about splattered Voldy brains, Tonks in bed, and mostly kick-butt Harry.

The lack of good editing is glaring but this remains a fun story. Thank you.
