As good as this story is, Methos' and Darius' interactions make it even moreso; it's rather heartwarming to read the conversations of two of my favourite Immortals.

Hello. I thought I would add my voice to the chorus begging you to finish this most excellent fic. It's a truly original premise, and the thought of Methos having to pretend to be a student/new Immortal under the tutelage of Duncan, of all people, is just too delicious. I laughed out loud numerous times. Your characterizations, with the possible exception of Connor (and that's probably because I have my own version of him so fixed in my head) were wonderfully nuanced.

You have a rare talent for story telling, with many a clever turn of phrase. "Manipulation aforethought" was a particular favorite. There is a dearth of truly excellent writers left in fanfiction, and I would put you at the very top. Put it this way: if this story were finished and published as an actual book, I would buy it. It's that good. So please, please, will you consider continuing it?

Ohh, more, please, more, more, more! This is just too brilliant not to end it! Please?

This is one of the funniest HL stories I have ever read. I so very much love the quandry Methos is in playing the newbie, forced to hide his annoyance and competence (not to mention his growing attraction). It's hilarious.
Please continue this story. It's more than worth it, especially as you don't stick all to closely to the series (lest it gets boring).
