Outstanding work. The evolution of Simon's character was quite enjoyable and believable. It was good to see these two old friends reconcile one final time, each resigned to the other's chosen path in life even though theirs would never again intersect (although come very close once a year.)

Well for one I absolutely despised the epilogue time skip. So thanks for writing one last Hurrah before Simon disappears. The Simon/Yoko undertones were just a bonus.

I'd like to think they eventually had a reunion once a year or every several years and/or reunited after living for so long. We do see that they age in the epilogue but Simon's right eye spiral made me think he might've become immortal/long living like Lord Genome and lived for a long time. If that was because he was the ultimate Spiral entity I could only guess, but I'd like to think that it's because they battled the Anti-Spirals and gained the knowledge for the next step to evolution. All of them who fought on/as Tengen Toppa on the final battle. :) Boota is still alive after twenty years, isn't he? And Leeron didn't look old like the rest of them either.

This is a nice companion to the epilogue. Kind of like a mini-epilogue inside the epilogue. I wanted Simon to toss the ring back to Yoko when she tossed it to him. You fulfilled that wish. Thank you.

To be perfectly honest, the story brought a tear to my eye. You captured their personalities perfectly. How Yoko found Simon, very well done. How Simon reacts fits well... I could clearly see this as an 'epilogue's epilogue.'

I especialyliked how you ended it. As you quite clearly show how Simon was over shadowed by everyone else.
