| ChizuMaehara chapter 3 . 8/31/2013
I just finished reading. And this is by far my most favourite supernatural fanfiction I have EVER read. Thank you so much for writing and sharing this piece. It's simply amazing.
| Nadamalki chapter 3 . 7/12/2013
I'm starting to have no social life thanks to your stories! Loved this one so much, the tone and atmosphere was just perfect. Dean's mood here was filled with so much melancholy my heart was aching the whole time, and I loved it! Thanks again for sharing your super duper awesome talent with us!
| DWinchest chapter 3 . 6/7/2013
This was a fantastic piece of work. I love the raw emotion and all of your figurative language. Truly great job!
| Lindelas chapter 3 . 1/31/2013
Loved this! It was a great way to dig into Dean's turmoil before he actually told Sam what John said. Gah, you get into his head so well! I don't even know what more to say!
| game-on-panda chapter 3 . 1/10/2013
Wow. I've been diving into some of the stories written in Seasons 1 & 2, and yours are among the best. I know you wrote this story several years ago, but it feels fresh, original, and true to the spirit of the show. You've got talent; I hope you keep at it. Thank you for such a great story.
| afickleflakes chapter 3 . 1/30/2012
oh this. ;-; it almost reduced me to tears.
and I don't cry.
thank you for having mercy on Dean's left side. he's always getting shot on his left side. ):
great job. brilliant plot, brilliantly written. ((:
| Konoha's White Fang chapter 3 . 5/28/2011
I loved reading this story. Your writing style is very entertaining and intriguing. Your ideas are quite profound and interesting. I enjoy reading your stories, I feel like they could be an extension of the show itself.
Your way of describing the turmoils Dean's going through is well written.
Take care and have a great week!
| metallideangrl chapter 3 . 4/26/2011
Loved the monster. Never read a story with a Revenant in it. This was cool. Loved it how Dean connected with Kelly in the beginning with the car, Dean definitely has his way of adapting and connecting with people. Although, some better than others.
Again, loved the brotherly moments and Dean's pain. Man, the emotional weight, pain and guilt that boy carries is daunting. It's amazing he makes it through any hunt still intact. Just goes to show what true mental grit he has. Love Dean so.
Loved it how Kelly and Maxine helped out in the end. And Kelly saving the brothers in the house. Awesome. As pointed out in the story, usually the brothers come in, do their job and leave as quietly as they came. It was nice though, to see them get acknowledgement and thanks from Kelly and Maxine at the end. Every once in a while it is nice to receive some thanks when you put your life on the line time and time again.
Loved the story. Thanks.
| Zinfer chapter 2 . 4/22/2011
Fantastic chapter! If I could favorite a chapter I'd fav this one! And lol to sam's comment on dean's gravestone saying "it's ok, I'm fine". Lol!
| Heartless BytchhakaHelenBach1 chapter 3 . 3/15/2011
"I can't take the weight from you," Sam whispered in the darkness. "But maybe I can help you carry it."
I love this.
"Sometimes I wonder if we can save anything, or if we're just meant to kill…"
And this. Is this some foreshadowing to a future story?
Loved the playlist you had. And "Time In A Bottle" was a nice touch. I don't think very many of the younger generation have even heard of Jim Croce or realize how much of an influence he was on 70's music.
I enjoyed reading your story. You do such a great job of portraying the brothers and their love for each other.
| Heartless BytchhakaHelenBach1 chapter 2 . 3/14/2011
I meant to fuss you in my previous chapter's review about your cliffhangers. Somehow I got sidetracked to another topic. Gee, I wonder how that happened.
*rolls eyes* *laffs*
Anyway, on to the "cliffhanger" fussin'. Or I guess in this case we could call it a "balconyhanger". In the first chapter you have an explosion that blows them clear out into the yard and then you just leave them there in a tangled heap of limbs. And you leave the Gentle Reader twisting in the wind like a hanged man in a tree.
See these bald spots on my head? That's from your "balconyhangers".Feel the guilt. Feel the shame.
"Balconyhanger fussin' over now.
I need to find these magazines. If the other stories in them are half as good as yours, they must be a real treat.
I'm enjoying how the brothers are trying to figure out how to avoid triggering boobytraps while they are going into the house.
And the memory Dean had of his dad listening to Hendrix was a nice moment. Memories are the damnedest things. We can't pick and choose our memories. They choose us. So for Dean to have that good memory after the memories of JW as a YED may have been a healing moment for him. Nice touch there, G.
And seeing them hanging on to each other while hanging off that balcony was intense. Sam's realization of the pain he was causing Dean, Dean's fear of Sam letting go, both of them knowing that Sam was going to have to hurt Dean even more to swing to the stairs was totally gripping.
(Emotion, for one moment unrestrained, flooded his eyes, his face. Every doubt, every fear, every wish, every moment of pain, every thought of the past, every hope for the future poured from their hiding place deep inside him into his eyes as he pinned Sam with his gaze.
"Sam," Dean's voice trembled. "Y-you c-can't let go."
"This is killing you," Sam whispered, tears thick in his voice.
"I got nothin' if you let go," Dean admitted, his voice barely audible, his body shaking. "S-swing, Sam." )
First you set me up with the "balcony hanger" scene, then you knock me on my ass with that. Are you trying to kill me?
And again, a "balcony" hanger and unanswered questions at the end. It's always a fun ride roadtrippin' with you.
| Heartless BytchhakaHelenBach1 chapter 1 . 3/13/2011
"Strong, historic, bringing both death and peace."
I cannot tell you how much I love that sentence and how awesome I think it is. It should be in artwork everywhere in Supernatural fandom.
I thought I'd read this story back months ago when I first found your stories. I was pleasantly surprised to see I was wrong. Led Zeppelin's "No Quarter" and Tool's cover of it is some of my favorite music to listen to when I'm stressed. Think Dean on the motel bed in HOTH.
I'm enjoying the angst (of course you know me,:P)and the back and forth banter between the brothers.
Loved the barroom brawl. We know them boys can hold their own in a good fight. And it's always a solid win when one has the other one's back.
It's interesting to watch how you have Dean's avoidance and Sam's trying to figure out what is up with Dean and why he's like he is right now. Sammy's always been very observant and you show that well.
Thanks for the great chapter, G. I'm off like a herd of thundering turtles to the next one.
*smishes you close,pats you*

I liked this one better. Liked what you did with Kelly and Maxine, and Nate the vet who was kinda like Zeke. And the injuries were paced better, and the ending worked for me. Oh, and I liked Dean's creepy dream.
| Death-Muncher chapter 3 . 10/13/2010
