Do I ever love your imagery! The depth of detail and the tantalizing descriptions dovetail perfectly in the canon motivations and proceeding dialogue.
Hate to admit that I'm practically slathering by the end while my knees are jelly, good thing I'm sitting down. Where's a vampire when you need him!
| Itaque chapter 3 . 8/14/2008
I loved this! Even though it was imagined, it could have been a deleted scene from the book. I enjoyed hearing how they both thought they knew what the other was thinking. Now whenever I read Eclipse I will read this story in between!

Nicely done. I liked the idea of Bella giving voice to a lot of her thoughts on the two of them getting married. This is a point in the books that really bothers me though. There is a lot about Bella in the Twilight series that I don't like - and this is a biggie. It seems to me - that although Edward often can't see past his own beliefs (as we've already discussed) he does make a lot of compromises and concessions for Bella. In the grand scheme of things, for Bella to agree to get married is so miniscule - and yet she agonizes over it. I know some might argue that it has to do with todays "norms" or her upbringing with parents that married too young - but it means so much to Edward - and I always am a bit irked that she can't just do it for him - and be happy about it - without all the drama.
Sorry for the rant - but it does make me annoyed. I liked the fact that you covered her fear over what people would think - and the implications of the two of them getting married and the rumors that might ensue. I also liked that you had her face the fact that there aren't any rules or norms for a vampire/human relationship - so perhaps it's not as big deal as she initially thinks. You mentioned something about writing a lot of Edward - and fearing you were losing Bella's voice - but I don't think you are at all. You write Edward with a lot more insight, depth and maturity - and your Bella is much more of a girl - not your typical teenager by any means - but not tempered by a century of life experience either.
Bravo, you know I always love what you write! ;P

I'm sad there's only one chapter left! I am really enjoying this story. The word choice is simply amazing.

You are an unbelievably talented writer...

Oh my god...you're so good with this relationship. This sort of interaction is exactly what the wonderful Ms. Meyer is trying to portray. Plus, seeing Edward's point of view is wonderful, just to be reassured how much he really obsesses over her, that it's not just Bella and the indulgent vampire. They are so cute. *sighs*
