It saddens me that there won't be a sequel. I was really looking forward as to what might fold out after Azula's encounter with the lion turtle but I guess the ending is better left as open ended and let the readers decide what happens in the story. Still, I enjoyed your work through and through and I think this is going to stuck with me for a while.

Man. What a story. I enjoyed every bit of it especially Aang and Azula's interactions. The idea of them being together really never crossed my mind and I can say I enjoyed how you played it out! I'm really dying to know what happens after this but I'd like to think that they both ended up living together. Thank you for writing this masterpiece and I am glad to have this as my first experience in reading fanfics

I can see why this story has so many adaptations and such a huge following. It really is incredible.

I'm not usually one for open endings, but this. I think it works. Would I have liked to see it play out? Sure, but I think that's another story for another time, and it wraps everything up just enough in a way that I can imagine how things would play out to the end.

Summary of what I think as this comes to a close, just wow. I was a little thrown off by the introduction of LoK and comics and while I never really got into the whole Raava, Vaatu extra spirit world bits, I think it made it unique especially with all the extra characters added in. I truly believe this is the greatest fan fiction to exist. Again, the words flowed into images straight out of the show but new.

Azula and Aang in this, shipped them just after the carnival games. I absolutely had multiple face palms with Aang mucking up what to say but the scene happened. I will not say I did not shed a tear when they said their farewells, but it was a bitter sweet ending to the story and those are the best kind of endings.

Time to go watch the original series again ;)

Tragic for the Azula X Aang shippers in this chapter. While I am for it, especially with the AU in the this story, I also see the reverse for this pair. In that Azula is the one head over heels for Aang like Aang was for Katara. My gut feeling is that this flirtiness will likely go away as the worlds merge more, I am expecting (unfortunately) they do not end up together.

I just discovered this existed (I watched the original series as it came out on TV many years ago as an elementary student). I remember being so upset I missed part 1 of Book 1’s finale because my family was driving to a cousin’s house. Got there just in time to see part 2. Anyway, I’m glad I didn’t have to wait to read this.

Out of all the fanfictions I have read, this has been so true to the source get unique that I am truly astounded. The fact that this was written almost 16 years ago and was updated relatively recently is just a testament of how dedicated you are as a writer. The way in which you write just allows the action, emotion, and dialogue to flow into clear images. It is like I am watching the whole series anew yet at the same time experiencing a nostalgia for the original.

I just discovered this gem and this is by far one of the best fanfictions ever. The concept of it alone is amazing. I am sure most people would love to see a sequel made. There is so much potential to be had with this and I can't wait for more!
