Brilliant!

I read this the other day and almost gasped when I realized I'd never reviewed, sorry about that lol. Anyway, I really liked how this kind of mothering nature of Katara's was told in Zuko's pov and it makes sense b/c he's still learning more about the gaang during this arc and of course he would notice all these kind of things, I like how they are portrayed as equals from what I read about how Zuko never taught Katara anything despite teaching the rest of the gaang something, just comes to show how much of a wonderful connection they have with each other.

I like the subtle romance, almost not there at all, yet still noticeable. The writing was very good, and I thought you captured Katara's selflessness well. Good job!

This is gorgeous and so true. I've always felt like the only person who treated Katara as an equal and partner, and not a mother/silly little girl was Zuko. You've really captured the reality and unfairness of the role Katara was almost forced to take on (not that she didn't perform admirably, but she shouldn't have to be a mother when she's still so young). Honestly, any other Katara pairing makes me a little uncomfortable because of the Oedipal elements, but you really make this couple both beautiful and realistic.

I'm not actually a Zutara shipper, and I get that you hinted at it in your story, but I think I've got to betray Kataang just this once... Because, honestly, this story was beautiful! I loved it! You got all the characters down (except for Aang, because he wasn't really part of the story), and I can totally see Katara doing all of those things, and maybe some of that conversation at the end happening. :D

ok this is my first time ever to review on someone's fanfic but let me just tell you this is by far the best zutara fanfic. ever. i dont know, i just keep coming back to this story and i love it. a lot. you've managed to portray all characters without them being ooc and i really really loved that. please keep up you're writing, i love it sooooo much. thanks for this wonderful fanfic that makes me feel happy no matter how many times i read it.

This was really cute and very well written, you did extremely well with capturing the emotions of everyone involved despite the limited POV. There were a couple of minor spellings errors (things like "to" instead of "too"), but overall, great thing you've written here.
