![]() ![]() Wow, love this epic start to a story. So very intriguing! And writing is absolutely marvelous. What a joy to read and to let this discovery unfold. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I am very curious to see where Makoto and Jason are heading together... and what the implications of their night out will be! And I really enjoy seeing how Jason watches Taiyouko and how Taiyouko is watching Jason, it's so very interesting, and hard to predict what's going to happen. I am just so intrigued by Mamoru's past. The tarot reading scene with Rei was really interesting. Can't wait to see how this keeps developing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I had this niggling feeling that Sailor Sun shouldn't be trusted, but I thought I was being overly paranoid. Now I think I should have trusted my instincts! Even if her intentions are good, Mother's don't seem to be. Especially with Kakos and Skotos showing up... *shudders* I am starting to form some theories, which is probably a dangerous thing to do! Considering the title of the story and some of the new information Setsuna is bringing to light, I can't help but wonder if the Eunomia (? I think - I'm a little confused trying to keep it all straight without going back) have gotten tired of having stepped down to Queen Serenity, and if they are back to take control. If Mother is one of them, though, I'm not sure why she would be creating the Golems - unless attacking the Sailor Senshi is her only objective? (At least - this is my reading... you were very cryptic about who is actually instructing Kakos and Skotos...) And who is the old man they need to send golems to protect? Intrigue! I also made the connection - "Taiyou-ko"- as in sun-child (if that is the kanji that would be used ... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... I can't quite figure out who that voice in her head might be. It did make the comment 'justice was not done', and one of the figures in Usagi and Minako's drawings was identified by Setsuna as passer of judgement (I don't remember what her name was though..) I'm not sure how this part connects with Jason and the Senshi getting their memories from past lives, or the connection to Mamoru's past in /this/ life. I will just have to wait and see. I am a bit concerned about Michiru, and how she is withdrawing from everyone. I hope she will be okay! I have always found her and Haruka's relationship so incredibly powerful, so I don't want to see anything happen to it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I think my favourite part of this story has to be Mamoru's past (which we now know has something to do with Usagi's past) of this time. I am really looking forward to finding more about how Jason fits into all of this. Who was he in the past? Why do Rei and Mamoru and Ami all recognise him (and would any of the other senshi) while Makoto does not? (Or maybe she does, who knows, because she did seem to take a liking to him very quickly..) I am also so intrigued by how Taiyoko fits into all of this. I am starting to wonder now if everyone has a past self from the Silver Millennium, but would be none the wiser unless there was a direct connection to Serenity or Endymion or those closest to them. Sailor Sun is another mystery I am looking forward to find out more about. Thanks for this excellent story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I am really excited to see Jason meet the Sailor Senshi in the next chapter! The way you are building up the anticipation is really great. There are so many clues and pieces to the puzzle that we can't see the whole picture, but it's starting to come together. It is so intriguing! There were a couple parts of this chapter that really stuck out to me. The conversation between Usagi and Artemis was really moving, and Ami's shock as she starts to figure out and remember. I really like the details of their past selves contrasting with their current selves. I wonder how the past ties into the present, and I can't wait to get to the bottom of this golem mystery! And it's so great to see Jason and Keisuke figuring out the case! |
![]() ![]() ![]() OH my goodness! things are just getting more and more exciting. I really would like to have a long chat with Setsuna about all of this... This is so intriguing! I am really enjoying this :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() ermagerd! I am so, so intrigued by the developments in this chapter! I love the characterisations as always, and am a bit blown away by the identity of the mysterious girl (and how will this play out in future chapters?) and bringing two parts of the story together in the interview with Mamoru! Love it :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love the way this chapter develops the story! The dreams are really interesting, from Rei and Michiru both in very different ways, but both very foreboding. I love the insight into Usagi in this, and the dynamic with her mother is really interesting and very well-written (and I love the juxtaposition with Chibi Usa being there at the same time too.) I am also really intrigued (of course) by Detective Taiyouko and what exactly is going to happen there... the bit with Saori coming to give Mamoru the heads up was really good (and I love the way you write his ego... bless). Excellent chapter! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I am blown away by your writing, this is absolutely marvelous! The flow of this chapter, the characterisations, and the details are superb. I just adore some of these illustrations: the way Mako wishes to preserve a time and day, this beautiful and somehow mysterious but very comprehensible bond between all the girls, Usagi and Chibi Usa, the extraordinary difficulties of time travel and the very mundane and yet very real friction of a budding teenager pushing back against her parents. I also want to say I really appreciate this kind of 'wide-angle' sweep to bring us into the story... I can tell things are all going to connect together, but just -how- remains to be seen. All these little hints you're giving out have me on the edge of my seat! Can't wait to continue, I know this is going to be a wonderful read! |
![]() ![]() ![]() They say that one shouldn't read unfinished fics, but here I am, again at this fic wondering, asking myself what happened and wanting the answers that might never be know... Just saying, I like to read this from time to time... |
![]() ![]() ![]() so, my friend sent me this story to read because she needed someone to talk about this... and i understand now! I'm normally not so quick to agree to read a story I am told lives off its suspenseful plot and yet is abandoned, but this? you are one extremly talented individual. the scenery you create is astounding. I love the detailseverything from Mako-chan wanting to preserve this happy celebratory day of Usagi and Chibs' surprise party in a bottle, of dried lavender pillows and a harried, busy Mamo-chan needing to be fed. And then Saori! That whole dynamic is so well placed, so amazingly set! I am so looking forward to see what happens when Mamoru finally gets interrogated, you set this up so wonderfully! My favorite, hands down, are the dream sequences though. i loved Rei'sso very fitting, and Grandpa Hino's POV about the Mars-insignia ash! wow! But Michiru's? ? You presented me in one dream not only with a rich headcanon on WHAT EXACTLY the Silence Glaive would have needed to do to destroy life in the Solar System! (Tilt axis! So ingenious!) but also such an elaborate, powerful image into what felt like Michiru's soul that it had me enthralled. You speak in riddles, and I love it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() So I was lying in bed pondering a few things and think I might have cracked (ha ha) the egg, at least partially. At first I was thinking that the memory dreams that the inner girls were having were sparked by Mother, or at least what Mother is involved with, since it seems like they are pro-inner and anti-outer. But I thought, isn't it weird that Mako ISN'T having dreams and Michiru IS? Then it hit me: the people who are having the dreams are the ones who held the egg! Usagi, Ami, Rei, Minako, Michiru... they were the only ones who held the egg and the only ones having dreams. So now I think that their memories hold valuable information on how to defeat Mother (or the power behind Mother), which is why NQS sent the egg at that time. I also feel that, as the executioner and being related to sun powers, Taiyouko will be the one to defeat Mother in the end. That's my hypothesis at this exact moment, anyway. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ah, and I just realized that the golems have actually only tried to kill the outer senshi. Sailor Sun needed an "in" to get to meet the senshi, so the (relatively) harmless ones with no crystal shards were merely a set-up devised by Mother. Otherwise, only the outers (and the wayward pair of Jadeite/Ananke(?!) who I think were just at the wrong place at the wrong time) have had to fight for their lives with golems that were specifically calibrated for them. It makes me think that Mother is trying to wipe out the outers but not the inners... but why? Is she trying to make things go back to how they were during the Silver Millennium? So many questions! (And what about Usagi's egg? I get the feeling it will wind up being very, very important.) |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's been years since I first read this fic and it's still one of my absolute favorites. The plot(s), intricacies, the OCs, the characterizations, the rich worlds you built... it's all top-notch. It's been nearly a decade since your last update but I can't help but hold out hope that one day you will put us all out of our misery and tell us what the heck happens. I am so in love with Taiyouko, and know she is heading straight for another run-in with Mamoru (hello, burn unit?!) and of course she has an appointment with Usagi, too. I'm holding out hope that she can piece together the bizarre story here and figure out who Mamoru's parents were, why they were killed, HOW they were killed, and how/why Mamoru was spared. Of course there is also the mysterious Sailor Sun... I can't help but think she's a sort of golem herself... a true Velveteen Rabbit conjured up whole by Mother. And Mother... who is she from Earth's past? Is she from Earth at all, or related to the Sun? But certainly she is from their past in some way. I can't quite figure out if she wants to marry Endymion or murder him. At this point I do believe her to be behind the golems, but man there are so many questions that remain still at this point. Oh and Michiru! Who is singing to her and what will happen to poor Haruka when Michi becomes a mermaid?! Is Jason gonna come out ok?! Are the other Shitennou really dead?! Gah I wish I knew what happens! (Anyway, yes, there are still people out here who think about this story all the time and would be thrilled for a resolution and to know what happens to your wonderful characters. I hope life has treated you well since this last update and know that if you return to this world, you would be welcomed back with open arms and possibly a parade thrown by me.) |
![]() ![]() ![]() So, you've been away from this story for a really long time, and I read it because it was 100 percent with my time. So interesting, great characterizations, fantastic development, a reference to Kosh , some great moments. I hope that you are still writing something even if it isn't this . Following incase you ever update. |
