It like Kimblees little crush, its darkly suiting to his character. It's like realistic evidence of him as nothing more than a sick, twisted killer -emotional, irrational, obsessive, destructive, stalking, making targets out of people, disgustingly creepily touchy-feely, sexual satisfaction from killing. Excellent chapter!

Archer stared at his other alchemist; the useful one. “He what?”

A killer always recognized another killer. “Why yes. It's nice to finally meet you, Mr. Gutter. My name is Crimson, want to play?”

What an epic closing line! Damn, this story has such great flow and tension build, I can practically see it playing on a film real in my head. I envy how you are able to work in the small details of the show into action, such as the Chimeras, and Tucker -an almost therapeutic release, watching two sides of the same coin.

Archer was talking through his teeth; it was only a matter of time before he took action.

Archer swatted Kimblee's pawing hands away. The man was like a five year old.

*WOW* I had that SAME EXACT thought that "He is acting like a 5 year old!" I laughed so hard when I saw that. I also like the little intimate time, and deep character insights you offered; the play in Kimblee's voice from fun to serious, the subtle nervous shake of Archer's hand, the sensitivity Archer showed to Kimblee upon his 'lovesick puppy' comment, this obsession growing in Kimblee. It's really great, and the little nuances and actions are well placed and in full character in my opinion.

Somehow hanging out with Kimblee had weaseled its way into his daily routines.

And after our beautifully, but almost saddening as we relate with Kimblee's feeling our jealousy, is the closer:

Kimblee was jealous.

Kimblee may not have know how much, but the man was pouting and looking like a kicked puppy.

Aw, love is blossoming, er, at least friendship is, and as Tucker noted, a little jealousy from Kimblee? Makes me curious, how does Archer feel towards the fiend?

...glared at Archer's empty desk as if it was mocking him.

All I could see is Kimblee pouting like a 5 year old. And the coincided funnies of Archer and Roy, yes, you could see that little risque unfolding after hours at the office.

Nothing hurts a little Roy-cameo. It makes for good reasonable fodder, and isn't out of place either. I like where this story is going!

Great writing, great words and excellent descriptions. Kimblee and Archer -what a great contrast and yet so perfect. I absolutely adore how Kimblee is so childish like he has ADD

I loved this story. Loved it to tiny bits and pieces. It's a pairing I hadn't actually thought of until I found it, and I have to say you've made it my OTP. No fooling.

I am highly enjoying this story so far! While I only just got caught up with the FMA manga and just started watching the anime, I do love Archer and better, with Kimblee XD

While it is a bit frustrating that it's taking so long for the two of them to get to the hot stuff, at the same time I love the fact that you are not rushing into it like so many people do. Taking the time to have the relationship develop makes the story much better. Though for a few chapters now I keep screaming "dammit Kimblee, just tie Archer up already?" XD

I'll be eagerly awaiting more chapters but I can be patient as we all have other important stuff to do.

I actually get what Archer's saying about hurting his feelings. My character Sapphire is like that around Kimblee too. (From Sapphire's Redemption: Coming this January) She loves to annoy him and hit him and basically make his life hell. But she'd apologize if she actually hurt his feelings. It's a love/hate relationship with homicidal intent. And explosions, naturally.

It was worth the wait. Totally worth the wait. This chapter was beautifully written, and I loved the descriptions. Bradley was wonderfully in-character as both the Fuhrer and the Homunculus, so extra points there. The relationship between Archer and Kimbley had always amused me, and I always wondered how you were going to pull this off. You did an amazing job, and it makes perfect sense too. Twenty-three chapters is a lot of character development too! I adore this story so much, and I hope you can manage to give us another chapter soon!

It amuses the hell out of me that Marta is more concerned by the fact that she is made to listen to their relationship-problems and the fact that the pillows are pink, than the fact that she is a captive.

Archer and Kimblee... sweet, yet insane and disturbing at times. I really like the easy, snarky conversations they have and how they, two psycopaths, bumble around what they want.
