this isnt a flame, but i just wanted to say that i REALLY hope that this fic doesnt turn in to a mary sue. im talking about the sudden 'meaningful' connection between pyro and glory. i dont get where its popped up from to be honest.

ive lost count of the amount of times ive seen a perfectly good fic turn in to a mary sue for pretty much nothing. this is a great fic and it has potential.

please dont just decide to do the easy thing and continue this story in the direction to the centre of mediocrity.

otherwise ive been enjoying this story so far.

Does someone have a little crush on John? Probably not with that misplaced affection thing you put in. It's good to know he can (sort of) control the Pyro in him. Can't wait for more. Update soon!

I loved the poetic-ness of John's feelings. Dark, but still poetic; and you managed to imbue him with the desire to kill without seeming like a psychopath. Good job; but if he kills someone innocent I'll beat you with a wet noodle.

First off: I am so, so, so, so sorry about the lateness of my review! I was just really uber busy and fics just kept getting pushed further and further onto the back burner... I'm starting to catch up now, though! So there's my apology.

So now the chapters! Oh noo! John! Don't die! I don't think he will because Glory's there, though... My mom has one of those reader things John uses. Nice allusion to Great Expectations! Sadly, I hated that book. It's the one book I was supposed to read for school and didnt, that's how bad it was. At least, that was my opinion. It wasn't so much that it was bad, more than it was boring and my teacher assigned like 40 pages a night. I just missed one night and couldn't catch up... However with the handy help of sparknotes dot com I made a 92 on the test! Yay!

Anyway, great chapters! I really liked the hotel part with John. Can't wait for the next update!

Okay, let me just say that even though you don't have a 'plan' this story rocks (and you coulda fooled me).

Lots of awesome novels are written as a spontaneous thing, with each chapter occurring to you one at a time. It looks like yours is one of them.
