I forgot to say it after a couple chapters ago that I am really happy that Harry didn't get captured by Pettigrew. It's also interesting that neither Harry mentioned having visions. Maybe because they're not in the same world as their own Voldemort, the connection is stretched. But the horcrux would be in the bodies not the minds, so that doesn't explain it. Does neither Harry have a horcrux in the scar?

Oh no! I had hoped it would work but there's so many more chapters and I thought it was a little early for them to be switched back. I like the patronum protection. Maybe the other world Snape and Harry can try something similar.
I can't imagine Snape being able to return to being a Death Eater while being Harry's father especially the other one who is married to Lily. I guess that goes with Draco's present in the other world that says it's the last year he has to get Harry a present.

Well, a little too melancholy for me, but you did seem to end it on a hopeful note; like Harry might eventually trust Sev enough to tell him of the Dursleys or Sev might finally hear Harry's accidental utterances.

I'm really confused: Harry, the Dursleys Harry, was treated as as bad as Dobby; he was an unappreciated, reviled, mistreated, starved, and abused house-elf, but you have him acting like this treatment from Snape is all new to him. Like he never had to scrub the floors and toilets at the Dursleys. So, I guess Lily's Harry's treatment at the Dursleys is an anomaly. Huh?!
Well, you write incredibly well, but I just don't get how Dursley Harry could or would ever reject the attempts by Snape or any grown-up showing parental concern? Dursley Harry would not fight back: He's too downtrodden and used to being hurt.

Sorry, just discovered this and I'm not sure where its going, but I still like to let authors know that their contributions are still being read and appreciated. ;D
So, a few observations & (probably rhetorical) questions: So, will one or both of the Snapes come to realize that Harry *Potter* is an abused little boy?
I could never understand how Rowling could write a supposed 'Children's' book about an *abused* child!? And not just one; oh no, she wrote a *series* of books, with an abused child, put *back* into the same situation every year, that nobody gave enough of a crap about, to do something about the abuse or *even notice*!
I truly hope that at least one of the Severus' notices and wants to help.
Why Severus (Lily 'verse) want to create such a curse; knowing how his own un-cursed memories of his 'worst moment' had plagued him? Is he really as ignorant of the eventual use of the curse, as he claims?
I'm pretty sure that Lily's Harry will do fine: He's well adjusted and had been brought up with 2 loving parents. Poor Dursley Harry probably won't fare as well: He'll be dismissed and probably returned to the Dursleys as soon as he 'gets back'.
Well, I must read on. I may leave you a real review at the end!
