Love it. I think this is the first Kurenai fic I've ever read, and I'm glad it was the first.

True to your word, society is full of shit headed idiots who judge us single mothers whenever we walk in the streets carrying our babie in our arms without thinking it twice. And it helps nothing. It destroys most of us, it kills us all from the inside even though we smile on the outside.

I am thinking she wrote this letter to her daughter when she grows up. So much pain she has suffered. So much pain.
