Good story. Dumbledore already suspects there's more to "Mark Twist" then meets the eye. Knowing Dumbledore, he probably has already figured it out during the summer or will by the end of Harry's third year.

Oh wow, how weird an 'Americanized' Harry Potter. I can totally see why he was put into Slyterhin, a runaway must be very cunning to "stay afloat" and even more so to make their way overseas. This might not bode so well for Sirius Black, and poor (real) Harry.

I am so curious about this fake HP.

Don't they remember that Harry has green eyes not brown and wouldn't Sirius and Remus know that?

Very interesting! Though Dumbledore has put the hints together and found out Mark was Harry. Wonder how long the imposter will be able to keep it up? I would imagine through 4th year at least(i would think Voldemort would be able to kill him at the graveyard)

This story is still going pretty strong IMO. I liked how you handled the climax of CoS, and that stuff about the Pretender was extremely interesting. Looking forward to more!

Just wanted to let you know that it was another great chapter. A quick question, however. I got the impression from the last chapter that Dumbledore knows that Mark is Harry. Why then did he allow this false Harry to be named? Also, is this false Harry going to be able to get Harry's vault key? If so, that is just plain wrong. Anyways, looking forward to the next chapter.
