Okay, a bit more plot hole to swallow.
Harry can’t cast The conjunctivitis jinx. It requires a large amount of power and perfect reflexes that Harry as a child just does not have. In fourth year, Harry discarded the idea because he wasn’t strong enough, he didn’t know it because it was newt level, and he wasn’t good enough of a duelist to use it.
In addition to this, Voldemort was in absolutely no danger since he is completely incorporeal. There were many better ways to do this, but I’m just disappointed in the way it was taken care of.

Okay, so far, I am enjoying this. Thank you for writing this, I am happy not to have missed out.

I’m having to swallow a lot of plot convenience from the start and that’s very difficult for me to do.
It’s hard to accept that not only could a child notice legillimency despite Harry never having that power.
It’s hard to believe a ministry official can use legillimency on someone without looking them in the eyes, because that’s literally impossible.
I can’t really swallow Harry becoming and metamorphagus through accidental magic and being able to control it, which is absurd.
You simply cannot change the book of admittance by any means. Mark Twist should not have appeared on there.
But, despite all the impossible plot holes, I’m still giving this a shot, because I can tell that the writing is good and there’s a smart hand behind it.
I’ll stay tuned for now.

Aside from the obvious flaws in this story's wand lore, where apparently choosing a wand in the beginning is needed, whereas towards the end of the story, every wand is apparently the same in power and whatnot, with the exception of the elder wand, as evidenced by many people's randomly grabbing anyone's wand that's in reach, and being able to use them with practically NO change in the perceived power level compared to their own wands, the exception being the elder wand, it's a good story... I mean, such a weight is put on ollivander's wand shop in practically every Harry Potter book either Canon or fanfiction, where you have to have the right wand or it will not work half as good as it's supposed to, and yet here it starts out that way but in the end Harry and other characters just pull out random wands and do the exact same magic they would have done with her own wands, thereby making the whole ollivander scene irrelevant and unneeded. Don't get me wrong, there could be a plot based reason for the main fighting characters and whatnot to just grab anyone's wand and be able to use it as if it were their own, but as far as I can tell I have not seen a single reference as to why that should be the case, written in the story. The whole wand thing can be different, I'm not disputing that, but what I am saying is, is that it is a Harry Potter book or a derivative of a Harry Potter book to be more accurate and is placed in that Harry Potter world therefore everything unless it is stated in the plot should work out exactly the same as far as the world-building goes...

Again, besides the whole wand issue it is a very good book if a little hard to comprehend at times because it goes back and forth in some places a bit too fast or makes things unclear, but the saving Grace on that last point is that it does end up becoming clear in the end although to me it should be clear and concise all the way through, even if you have to leave certain things unclear for the purposes of plot development...

This is one of the most heartfelt stories I have ever read, and i have been reading since 59 years.
The way you described you Harry's sadness, loneliness, It was beautiful. And, I have read many stories in which people go overboard with Dumbledore bashing in the same situation of Dumbledore leaving Harry at the Dursleys. But in this story it was alright, and I think J.K. Rowling should have done something like this, after all it was Dumbledore's fault for the bad childhood Harry had.

Makes you realize just how evil Cedric was to seek to frame Harry in both storylines.

WORST HARRY POTTER FANFIC I HAVE EVER READ! IF YOU ARE/WERE ABUSED OR HAVE TRAUMA I SUGGEST YOU DON'T READ THIS FIC UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET TRIGGERED BECAUSE OH BOY THIS WAS BAD. I GOT TRIGGERED A LOT WHILE READING THIS THAT I HAD TO STOP AND DROP THIS FIC.

I regret wasting my time reading this. I got to until chapter 26 before deciding to drop this because I feel the more I read it the more triggered I will become. Healing takes time and you certainly don't force anyone especially if they are a minor to make them well. You don't for anyone to forgive you just for the sake of you to not feel guilty. If I were in Harry's shoes, I will die with my grudge against you before I forgive anyone that done all those horrible stuff that was done to Harry. Big yikes also for making Harry essentially a slave against his will too.

The first 20 chapters were so good, I like how you written Harry's struggles and how he tries to overcome it. I liked the fic because it hit way too close to home, I relate to Harry so much and was cheering for him throughout the story but that changed when they tried to capture him and force him to get better. I was expecting this to be some kind of revenge fic or something or just Harry finding happiness outside the wizarding world but yikes. I would rather read those Mary Sue/Gary Stu fics that are badly written that this mess sheesh
