I loved the end! It was amazing! Like 'may I come in?' Brilliant:D

It's a shame Tom Riddle senior/Merope doesn't get more love. Or Tom Riddle in general. He's my favourite character.
I've read this story many times before and it's must be one of the best Tom Riddle Senior/Merope fan fictions ever written! You're an awfully talented writer, and the story is just brilliance. Hence why I've read it so many times. You capture the characters very well! The ending is just perfect and chilling. Great work!
| Angelfirenze chapter 1 . 10/16/2008
Wow. Just wow. This was a fantastically interesting look into the actual dynamics of the Riddle family past the views held by the townspeople of Little Whinging. They're still plainly annoying, but much less malicious - exactly - more human, you know? It's really a pitiable situation all around and you depicted that fantastically.

So far, I'd say it's the best Merope/Tom Sr. fic I've read yet.
You captured the reality of the affair very well.
And the ending was blissfully ominous. (You don't need the author notes at the end either. We all get it!)
| Aideko chapter 1 . 1/13/2008
Very beautifully written; I love how you brought the darker mood from the latest books into the fic. I have to admit though, I didn't feel sympathetic toward T.R. Sr., but my heart really goes out to poor Merope. I also like the "idea" of her. The way you ended the fic was so perfect and delightfully creepy. Excellent work!
| Chrys-Moony-Marauder chapter 1 . 1/9/2008
I liked it. It was very good and a refreshingly unique story. For the most part, you played with language well and had nice detail, but there were little parts where you seemed to be missing words or switching them around, and I got a bit confused. Anyway, I really liked how you showed the real terror, ridicule, and shame Tom Sr. felt upon his return. I do feel that you could have taken the end a bit further though. Did Voldemort reveal his identity to his father before killing him? Did he get them all in the same room, or separately? Was Tom Sr.'s father awake when he died? I think it would be very interesting if you did end up writing how they were all killed in a sequel.
