| TheSlytherinNation chapter 29 . 9/13/2009
this is such an amzizng story! while reading it i laughed, cried, and screamed (my family thinks ive gone mad) i read this over about 2 days and 1 night, while i should have been studying for my language exam tomorrow, this was so much better than learning 5 chapters of vocabulary. You are a REALLY talented writer and this was so realistic thatitcould have fit into the series (obviously, apart from the pairings). I loved how u gave Lucius and Cissy actual personalities, because i fins it hard to belivee that even lucius could be cold all the time, you should really write more because u are extremly talented.
UR #1 FAN Buznuz1

I'm going to add this to my favourites but to be honest I have other fics to read. No idea if I'd like or not but if I don't have in my list then I'll forget to read it. Give me time.

| VickyVicarious chapter 11 . 9/1/2009
Ah... I've finally picked up this story again, and it just merits a refreshed sigh before I begin...
Okay, good. I'm not really going to give a long review, because I want to get on to the next bit, but I just have to say I LOVE this chapter. Narcissa kicking Ginny out of her self-pity is excellent, and - well, once Draco enters, it turns wonderful. Draco's reasons for not being nice are HILARIOUS and excellent and so true, and I love it. Actually, that whol civil(ish) conversation, and how for once they seem to really be peers in the face of everything else, is great.
*snorts* And Mrs. Weasley bursting in at the end! That was gold.
| Ella Not Lotte chapter 5 . 8/20/2009
Well, the thing that most stood out to me was the appearance of Armande. And do I really need to say what I'm going to say next? I loved him. Well, maybe love is too strong a word, but I'm going to love him soon enough.
The Julian action irks me a little, because anywhere else and I wouldn't mind it, but Ginny is Draco's.
I loved the teeny little bit of French, especially since I love to say "Ça suffit" to myself. It's just so much fun!
But I've realized what's different about your particular Draco. He's not a Slytherin Sex God in this one, even though he's very sought after. And what is this about him liking redheads...? Hah, it would just be hilarious if that were the truth and not just Armande flirting. Though perhaps the redhead development was rather recent...?
| Ella Not Lotte chapter 4 . 8/20/2009
Hah! That was hilarious! *giggles quietly*
But this week long thing sounds quite interesting. I can't wait to see what shenanigans they get up to now... Hmm... how long are they going to hate each other?
But yay D/G action! I laughed my head off for almost this entire chapter. I could picture the look on Draco's face when he saw Ginny, and I'm sure that I'm going to be bursting into fits of giggles for quite awhile after this.
I once again loved Narcissa. Her snobbishness makes me smile. Like Ginny says, she has no regard for anyone else, and as Draco says, she always gets her way.
Alexia didn't bother me so much in this chapter, probably because she isn't so rotten to Draco, and so just seems like a silly girl around him. (Which she is, of course.)
There's something about your stories that make me write long, rather rambly reviews. I hope you like long, rather rambly reviews, Miss Boogum.
See you at the forum!
| Ella Not Lotte chapter 3 . 8/20/2009
I LOVED Narcissa's character. Her distaste in the "sheep women" made me laugh, especially since we're all supposed to hate them anyway. But everything about her was spot on, in my opinion. One of the better Narcissas I've read to date, though perhaps a tad too approving of Ginny. I guess that if you really look closely, Narcissa thinks of Ginny as a pretty trinket. Nice to look at but not worth much time or effort.
But I am finding Julian rather insipid now, as I'm impatient for some D/G attraction (though of course, if there was any D/G attraction anytime soon I'd get ticked off 'cause all the D/G 'hate going on' is what makes the story a good story. "Boy meets girl and they fall instantly in love" never topped the best-seller list.)
I thought that Draco's entrance, while it wasn't elaborated on much, was trademark him. When I read, "three people walked into the room looking very important indeed," I thought 'ooh, I wonder who Draco's come with.' There was no question that Draco was one of the people.
Did I mention that the sheep women made me laugh as well? I don't think so. But I thought they were rather hysterical. Oh, they're gonna be pissed when Ginny swoops in and snags Draco. (Though I have some predictions of the feelings of both parties at the beginning of the marriage based off of the title.)
I definitely appreciated the fight between Draco and Ginny.
And I hate Alexia. She's not even a cool antagonist. Though there's nothing wrong with me hating her. She's a perfectly lovely character, spoiled and bitter in all the right places.
| Ella Not Lotte chapter 2 . 8/19/2009
Ooh, I like Julien. It's really a shame that he had to live in the same universe as Draco Malfoy, because there's no way that the two can compare. And you lied in the reply! He shows up in THIS chapter, much to my delight. I giggled through their entire encounter, and I think that you did a good job with this one.
There was one thing that kinda irked me though, and it was the redundancy of this phrase:
"Drinking in this wise wisdom, Ginny nodded her head and smiled gratefully at her godmother."
Of course, as this is the only thing that I saw and the only time I saw it, I shouldn't even remark on it, except that it's the most specific thing I can remember. I sort of float when I read good writing, so that I remember the entire thing as a sort of haze. It's something that I really should work on, because it affects the quality of my reviews, but I get caught up in the excitement of the story. (Which obviously says something about how good your story is!)
| BlantanaBFF chapter 9 . 8/19/2009
I gotta admit, I wasn't surprised in the least. I'm terribly sorry. I've simply read too many Victorian-era romances, and that's a rather common theme. You know, losing all the family's money somehow, yet still living the same way. Not exactly the same as a HP fanfic, however... This is fun to read, regardless of the surprising twists, or lack of them.
| kamapaludo chapter 29 . 8/18/2009
I really liked this fanfic! Thanks for all your work. I loved how it had just enough touch of Jane Austen society, JK Rowling's Harry Potter, and yet was a delightful story on its own.
| Ella Not Lotte chapter 1 . 8/18/2009
Ooh. I sort of blew this one off awhile ago, but I sincerely regret it. Screw not having the time, this is pretty darn good. The very fine Draco hasn't made his appearance of course, but that's alright, because you've set yourself up for a fine story. And it's four AM, so forgive me for my really really really really spazzy review.
