A few things, no "Kin being in the casket would have summoned the 4th", it would have done jack and shit... That's covered over later in the Naruto series and is a RATHER LARGE PLOT HOLE in the "konoha crush"... Minato is SEALED, he can't be summoned from the "pure land" because he isn't there, he's in the death god's belly... So the edo tensei FAILS... Nothing would have happened to her anyway.. (as I said, it's a rather LARGE plot hole)... There is actually ANOTHER huge plot hole in the Konoha crush.. Well 2 really.. That you've recreated here too... 1.. There SHOULD be a barrier team that has a barrier covering ALL of konoha... But DIDN'T in the canon for some reason (probably because they were added LATE in the series but TOLD that "it's always been around the village, it's one of the biggest secrets").. 2. With the orochimaru and sarutobi fight... Why didn't an ANBU team just BREAK THROUGH THE FLOOR they were fighting on? It's on top of a building, so all they had to do was go into the building and break through the ceiling! If they are "NAVY SEALS" or such... Shouldn't that have OCCURRED to them? The barrier didn't cover the floor after all.. ALL in ALL, it's one of the reasons the "konoha crush" is one of my most HATED arcs in the either series... Just too FULL of "errors".

Why didn't he ride a toad? It wasn't a STEALTH mission after all... Nor was there any reason NOT to... So yeah, "should have ridden a summons".

Never understood HOW gato could possibly be hard to find for the ninja... It's AN ISLAND.. And he has a LOT of workers/loot going in and out... So it's gotta be BIG... On an island... *blink, blink*.. If gato is on a boat? One, I don't think that would work very well with their level of tech, with the AMOUNT of people and loot needed.. Two, if they are on a boat, then jiraiya could put one rasengan straight into the floor AND EVERYBODY (that can't stand on water) is pretty much dead.. So.. Isn't this RIDICULOUSLY easy for him to finish right there?

I'm not to sure about that whole "sasuke is already into chunin level"... Because him and Naruto finished the "tree climbing exercise" at the same time... Now remember Naruto has OCEANS more chakra then sasuke and sasuke is SUPPOSED to already have REALLY good control... So the fact they finish at the SAME TIME (in canon) means either A) Naruto is WAY, WAY, WAY smarter or better at this then anyone in the ENTIRE two series ever sees.. Or B). sasuke isn't NEARLY as good as he's "supposed" to be, according to canon (low chunin already). Oh and here? Sasuke takes A WEEK to learn tree climbing... Not a day.. A FULL WEEK! *and remember that's him being favored by the show*,

Oh I think the uchiha is QUITE beyond redemption... Your right, he shows NOTHING of a redeeming quality to his personality... The second also has him need Itachi to mind rape him AGAIN (third time for those counting) just to get him outta being a COMPLETE ass... And even then it doesn't help much.. He goes after Killer Bee despite knowing the stakes.. And commits, essentially "war crimes" that SHOULD have kumo and iwa delivering the final blow.. (if not for naruto AGAIN for tenebious reasons)... No if your GOING to have sasuke have a "redemption" then it should probably be trading his life for one of the rookies..Or his death being the heroic sacrifice that gave the heroic side the power to beat the baddies... Kinda "giving up life and clan, to continue the world" situation...

As to why? ALL uchiha go "evil" at some point... His dad, Itachi (there is no way you can convince me he was a "tragic heroic character"), Obitdo, Madara, ALL of them known.. Every single one "breaks bad"... It's a genetic thing... Sasuke just went bad earlier, because of the 1st mind rape from Itachi at such a young age.

"being a genin is because it allows them to keep him closer to the village".. That PROBABLY is the thinking that Kishimotto had too when he created the series, but it makes ABSOLUTELY no sense... He is ALWAYS SENT WAY, WAY out from the village... "land of snow", "Kingdom of the crecent moon", going to the land of Ogres.. Whenever ANYTHING happens to in the village, he's LEADING the charge to wherever... Whenever ANYONE of the village is in trouble, he's LEADING the charge to wherever... .Then there are a FEW other missions and such that hurt the argument.. When he's sent as one of the ones to go after Itachi... When he's sent to Kumo, when he goes to Iwa (which REALLY SHOULD have blow the cover off A LOT), when he goes to waterfall... When he goes on a THREE YEAR TRIP with Jiraiya to ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD... Absolutely NONE of these things are "closer to the village"... and advancing every single one of his friends but NOT himself (when he's the one that's done most of the "heavy lifting" for the entire village, would NOT keep him "closer to the village" mentally either.

Naruto never seems TOO O.P. even in most stories that try to say they are for one simple reason... NINETY-NINE point nine percent of the time, all teachers EVER teach him are "control" exercises... They never state WTF he needs all this extra control for.. But that's usually it... O.P. naruto stories are usually just him being able to PUNCH and KICK harder then most... But the most USUAL O.P. thing people give him is SPEED! often seeming to be in 20 or 30 places without clones... But SPEED big blue ball is usually enough to thrash anyone from Kabuto to Pein in those... Normally you don't see MANY jutsus, or nature manipulations. OH almost forgot.. If it isn't taijutsu it is almost INEVITABLY through a sword of some kind.

UNLIMITED chakra shadow clones by the 1,000s to learn things at super speed (according to canon) half a dozen bloodlines... and everyone wants him to punch, kick or swing a sword.. People are VERY weird.

Well yeah of course the uchiha would have lost a LOT of the respect and good will of the people.. Think about it.. He was only EVER known for "surviving when his clan was killed" but after your fire scene... Everyone KNOWS FOR A FACT, he didn't "survive"... He was spared... Which kinda has to make everyone wonder "why"?... Also he's basically a coward, not liked and STEALS jutsu as his ONE redeeming feature (which he hasn't even unlocked)... Now that ALL THIS is common knowlege..Um, yeah there isn't ANY reason to praise him... There doesn't seem to be anything at "special" about him. (and there really isn't.. Except maybe his brains are broken... I've always thought it was very fitting for him to go to Orochimaru.. They are a match made in hell)

We leave the Academy stuff at the Academy... ? That's actually REALLY good advice for just about everyone in the Leaf... But the problem is... Most of the teachers and jounin, just can't seem to get their preconceptions to go BEYOND there. Which is really kinda weird.

Not to sure about this one... It's not a bad idea, it's just it seems to focus a LOT on sakura... The problem with this, is... She's kinda dull... She's a civilian born... No real "secrets" in the past... No "family jutsu" to develop new techniques for... No real nothing... The uchiha is kinda badly written, especially for what canon wants.. But sakura just doesn't have anything to build FROM. There just isn't a lot to BUILD on, for an action-adventure story... And yeah she grew A LOT in canon, between the beginning and Shippuden but she also had the farthest to go... Here, everyone is kinda at "basic", but the others just have "MORE" entertaining stuff to say about them..

You know with all these "random attacks" inside the village... I'm beginning to wonder why there even are VILLAGES!.. If they can't protect anyone from completely RANDOM attacks INSIDE the village.. Wouldn't the "warring clans" type situation be better? So nobody knew where anyone else was. I think you should STOP with these, because they kinda defeat the purpose of all of them gathering in one place. As it is "a spy" just doesn't cut it.. Because too many of these rando, stupid attacks and the hokage will just declare MARSHAL LAW... And then danzo, kabuto and ALL other spies of EVERYWHERE are FUCKED. (it IS a military dictatorship after all.. He calls that, and it's torture, NO RULES and NO LAWS except what the leader says MOMENT TO MOMENT, no spy can survive that)

Good character development. To be honest Sakura isn't a bad character, she is just a victim of Kishimoto's inability to write female characters, she fawns over Sasuke too much to the point it feels unnatural. Who else on her own mind would be wiĺing to became rogue nin just to be together with a one-sided crush.

I like the approach, using the pranks to increased the security and help the village.

I expected that this fic would be as good as "Captured". Well, no, this is crap.
