|Reviews for Valen's Return|
| JovianJeff chapter 4 . 5/2/2008
OMG this is good! I loved the conversations between Valen and Methos as always, I hope the separation is a short one. Nice one with Cassandra and the encounter on the station. I loved how the Minbari react to Valen and like Jeff to me the station seemed more his than anyone else's. He's always been my favorite B5 commander. Thanks for another marvelous chapter!

Magnificent! I find I like the Valen-Methos conversations the most. The wonderfully written passages about John were almost a distraction from the Immortal story I found myself falling in love with. How they fit into this verse is as amazing a read as their conversations with one another. Thank you for sharing this great story!
| JovianJeff chapter 2 . 5/2/2008
I love this concept! Great chapter, from the title had me worried it would spend a bit too much time on tormenting said Immortals, but loved the surprise curve I read where the title of the chapter had nothing to do with what I expected and yet everthing to do with what I read. Nice pacing, good flow of character interactions. Thank you for writing and sharing this!
| JovianJeff chapter 1 . 5/2/2008
OMG what a great concept! And pulled off very well. A smooth blending of premises that had me reading faster and faster as I dove deeper and deeper into this chapter. Thank you for writing and sharing this and I look forward to more!

Great chapter, eager for more. Hope that Methos doesn't hide for too long.
| Village-Mystic chapter 5 . 3/30/2008
While I'm generally more interested in the Methos part of the story, you did a really good job of keeping me interested in Valen and being with him in his journey. Thanks for sharing.
| ReddyRedWolf chapter 5 . 3/27/2008
Valen in this with the admiration of both Minbari and Human with their childlish bickering are like some First Ones.
Valen is like Lorien.
While the humans and Minbari are like Vorlons and Shadows seeking favor from a father figure.
On the Minbari's continuing problem of having children I'm beginning to see where you're taking this particular plot.
On Valen having children wouldn't that make him a target of some immortals?
Valen may not believe in the Quickening like a typical immortal but that wouldn't stop others from headhunting him for the knowledge and ability to have children.

Damn. You're very good. The twist and turns you have in your story is well thought out and easy to visualize while reading. It's very vivid.
| Magda1 chapter 5 . 3/26/2008
This is a very nice story, I'm liking it a lot. Valen/Sinclair as an immortal fits nicely. The political machinations are nicely drawn out, and characterisation excellent. I'd love a little more Methos mind you...
| Inquisitor0 chapter 5 . 3/26/2008
thank you for the update...not sure if Garibaldi is an immortal but Sinclair called him an "old friend"...i'm sure Ivanova's an immortal(she was a bounty hounter in season6 of highlander)...her mother(in B5) is probably her adopted daughter who grew old&was killed off by Psicorp...can u give hint or identity of the immortal that had gone into the Minbari embassy...finally there's lots of planets that can't normally be reached by jumpgates like the planets in Alpha Centauri, would any immortals try to go there thru the hard way in normal space&stay in hibernation before arriving, they could install a beacon there so that it would be easier to get there in hyperspace...
| Lita of Jupiter chapter 5 . 3/26/2008
Wait, how old is Valen?
he was pretty old then back before they reached the stars?
Methos would be close to 6 thousand so Valen would be almost 4?
I expected him to be close to 2 thousand...
And I feel for Methos with Valen being so free about something of his age around...
I wonder if you will add the technomages... they are a group I can see immortals getting along with, especially Methos when he needs to vanish
I like how Valen thinks and behaves, but how could he have a child?
Immortals are sterile arent' they?

I like your story. denique

I can understand that in B5 some Minbari like Delenn are decendants of Valen but...Immortals in all the Highlander movies and series can't have children. Well except in The Source.
So did changing into a Minbari allow Valen to procreate?
| divad relffehs chapter 4 . 3/8/2008
that was good hurry up and write more
| Inquisitor0 chapter 4 . 3/7/2008
thanks for the update...i thought Duncan had persuaded Cassandra from head hunting Methos whenever they meet each other...i'm sure Cassandra would give Methos a lot of hard time whenever she can but she knows that the bastard is a survivor&can easily get away...it's better for her to keep pestering him for the rest of eternity...considering how she doesn't like the idea of having Methos' quickening in her...she'd probably space Methos out of B5 without any thought&let him orbit Epsilon3 without retrieving his body for a long time..then again the Watchers would just fish him out...
also what happened to Duncan...that guy's a motherhen especially in dealing with Methos...u'd think that he would had gone to rescue him...
/**PLS PLS PLS IGNORE Highlander:The Source movie...that was a really messed up movie...i liked the original scripts of it instead of whatever that was released in DVD**/
