Wow! I never knew that a fan translated the beautiful song, Brothers! Thank you so much! I do hope that one day you will get credited to the official english translation to 'Bratja'! I absolutely love the song and hearing the english lyrics felt more...real. After all, I don't speak Russian. Your translation of the song successfully conveyed sorrow from both brother with just the right amount of sadness. I can imagine Ed and Al singing this. It just fits in with their personality so well.

And I never realized that it was a fan that made it (let alone who that fan was).
I came across this because, while listening to the Russian version, I realized that Vic had missed a part of the song. So searching around I found the original translation that you had used and decided that I would make my own verse for the part that was missing. It's not nearly as good as yours though, and I didn't even finish properly because I found this while looking for more translations and references.
But I'm so glad I found it! And you definitely deserve more recognition for your work!

Wow, that's an amazing story! I noticed that there was a missing verse compared to the original, but I assumed Vic had just left it out for one reason or another - I thought he was the one to write it. Those are really amazing lyrics.
