Huh... If I had caught this story while you were still writing it I would have suggested a sheltie for Naruto's animagus form. It's how I see him most of the time anyway. The form would also suite cannon Harry but your version of him feels more like a raven/crow to me. Then again there are so many different possibilities...

Well, at least it was sort of more merciful to kill Sirius off before Harry could get attached to him but it's definitely more sad for Remus unless he's going to die too. I'm almost scared to read the next chapter. T_T

Okay, just finished reading your note at the end of the chapter and I'm a bit confused on whether you've got the jounin rank in Naruto confused/changed or I've been misunderstanding it for a while now. It's my understanding that the special jounin rank is basically a chunnin that has advanced/mastered one or two skills enough that they are far above the chunnin rank in that area only and are therefore granted special jounin status even though the rest of their skills aren't really good enough to be a jounin. Regular jounin are the ones who are truly at that rank in all or almost all skills (very few people are good at everything, lol). Elite jounin are those that stand out even among jounin. While the Sannin are all strong enough to become kage, kage is not truly an official rank but a title of office. In that case they would be referred to as S-class nin (which in my head is always "super" nin, lol) even the hokage is technically ranked as an S-ranked nin (who just happens to be a kage). It's how ANBU is often used as a rank in fanfic but actually isn't, it's a department basically where highly qualified/skilled people work in secret but not an actual rank. Clarification on whether you changed things for this fic or I've been misunderstanding things would be appreciated, thanks.

Well, I decided to keep reading. I figured you said that pairings won't be a thing for quite a while so I'll find a way to tolerate a bit of Naru/Hina near the way if needed. I've done it before, I can do it again. The rest of the story is interesting enough to keep my attention away from focusing on pairings at least.

I've just started reading this chapter (just the author's note really) and am now praying that Harry gets a chance to empty his accounts, get his hands on a libraries worth of books (including one on wand/broom making, just in case), maybe a wizarding tent (or two) and definitely a few magical trunks (with at least some variety of magical plants for potions) and brooms before he ends up in Naruto's world. After everything he's probably going to have to put up with in his own world, I'd hate to see him leave anything behind for the vultures or to not have much to show for it other than knowledge (even though knowledge is power, more knowledge is more powerBOOKS). _;

Ugh... I keep going back and forth on whether to keep reading this or not. I like the concept and storyline but the Naruto/Hinata pairing gives me almost as much of the creeps as the Harry/Ginny pairing does. Honestly, I never understood why the creators went there, though at least Rowling admitted to regretting that choice. Why would either of those two guys actually end up married to what was essentially a stalker fangirl?! Especially in Naruto's case since he saw the fangirls behavior with Sasuke (though admittedly Hinata wasn't nearly that bad). Harry's case could be considered better or worse depending on how you think of it since he barely understands what romantic love really is if you really pay attention to cannon. To be honest, I always took that relationship to be the result of a love potion. Hmm... What to do?

I'm barely starting chapter one and I'm actually doubting I can finish the first chapter. Not because the story is bad so far, though it's got kind of an odd beginning, but because it's driving me to distraction to see Konoha spelled as "Kanoha" fairly often. It makes my brain freeze on the word like it doesn't want to process it. However, the summary sounds interesting so I'll try to fight through it for the storyline. _;
