Having you place the salon so close to Hikaru's house makes me wonder where it was originally in the show. I think it was further, but imagine the interesting interactions Hikaru and Akira could have had if it WAS that close lol.

uwaah that was an exciting chapter. I love how you explain away Hikaru's not knowing the meijin with the lack of information available to Hikaru, as explained in the scene with Hikaru's grandfather. The end too was a lovely bit of surprise. Love it! Go Hikaru! 3

Hey! Wow I'm really enjoying the idea so far. The whole protagonist fights through aversity to emerge even stronger than before thing is really appealing! Though I have to wonder at the speed of Hikaru's recovery, I suppose considering how bubbly he was originally it's possible. That and I guess you said it was actually a few weeks after the accident? The time skip makes it feel much shorter.

Anywho, I cought this small thing at the end.

A true Go player relishes under such pressure. - Do you mean "A true Go player flourishes under such pressure." ? or "A true Go player relishes such pressure." ?

I feel like the first one makes me sense and fits better but uh yeah XD;;... Off to read the next chapter!
