| TheMysticalOne chapter 1 . 10/30/2008
You haven't updated this story for quite a while and I would really love to see an update. I enjoy this story so much and your portrayal of a young Remus and Sirius is dead on. Please update this story. I would love to see another chapter!
| Avahin chapter 5 . 8/14/2008
Aww...it's so cute and heart-wrenching. Poor, dear Remus...Why doesn't he tell them he has a name? He's their friend, isn't he? But anyway, it's a great story. Really!
| enix-XIII chapter 5 . 7/21/2008
omg x-mas is going to depress me to no end what with remus being an abandoned unloved little thing T_T
| Adoxa chapter 5 . 7/17/2008
This is adorable. :) I love your 6-year-old Remus and Sirius! They're really cute. I hope Remus gets something for Christmas, it would be really sad if he didn't. Can't wait for the next chapter. _ xoxo -A

Lol, everyone loves reviews! They're just like fat-free ice cream. And it would be pretty odd if your whole story was angsty... kids just don't do angst! I mean they're trapped in a perpetual bubble of cheerfulness, no matter how hard their circumstances are. Well, generally. I don't know anyone in sub-Saharan Africa or Iraq so I can't say about that but if they get enough to eat, someone to play with and someone nice to snuggle up to sometimes then they're pretty happy...
I love realistic fics dealing with children - they make me feel all warm and tender inside and hopeful that the world isn't that bad a place after all - but they're extremely hard to find. Most fanfiction including children has either infants or kids around 11 (neither of whom are interesting!) and even when they put in 6 year olds (rarely) I'm left wondering whether they've ever interacted with children. Your Sirius is very realistic, Regulus is adorable and I just want to hug and hold Remus. Btw will you be talking more about his parents and why they let him go? I suspect ulterior motives behind their abandonment...

Depressing Christmas for Remus, no?
| Sera dy Relandrant chapter 4 . 7/10/2008
Now Regulus finally had his first friend, too! And his friend was also a very clever friend who could count to twenty-eight.
There he crawled under the old cloak that served as his blanket. I’ll name you Hippo, he thought and kissed the hippogriff’s wing.
Too cute for words! But sad.
| Sera dy Relandrant chapter 2 . 7/10/2008
Poor, poor Remus... the children are all very believable here. That's what six year olds do!
| Sera dy Relandrant chapter 1 . 7/10/2008
OMG I loved little Sirius! Not 'loved' but believed, yes, that's how Sirius might have been. Poor children - the Lulu side-story was macabre! Sirius honestly reminds me about Mary in The Secret Garden... the Blacks are very chilling, though I always imagined Walburga to be colder towards Siri and more indulgent towards Reggie.
