Ok it’s been a long time since I checked out this story and review so here we go. Please please stop teasing the romance, the whole “ will they or not” ! It’s so frustrating! I can’t remember what I said in previous reviews so if I repeat myself, I am sorry. Firstly, while Hinata is a good character, she just doesn’t have chemistry with Naruto. They have nothing in common. She is a great girl and I really love how she gets written, it’s just that Hinata x Naruto is everywhere. Personally I think Anko Miterashi is a much better fit for Naruto. Both are outcasts, hated by Konoha for reasons beyond their control. Both are passionate and impulsive and fun loving people. Both are named after food. I have a admit that the melt is a unique ability to give a ninja. I wonder, how would it work with Kurama Chakra Mode? Speaking of the big furball, it’s an interesting take on him but it lacks depth. Will Sasuke and Naruto be real friends? Jiraya being Hokage is a unique twist too. I am surprised that Gaara isn’t friends with Naruto yet. With Tsunade about to enter the story, will she be a love interest too? If you are asking me for only one girl for Naruto it’s Anko. No one else. Personally I like stories that have Naruto with all four of the ice queens (Anko, Yugao, Kureni, Hanna) but those are so few. I do understand the lack of motivation and time. The fourth NEVER could be summoned (it's another MAJOR plot hole from the Konoha Crush)... It was retroactively changed to never allow someone that has been sealed to be summoned (something BOTH orochimaru and Sarutobi should have known, one would assume, although if orochimaru DIDN'T... You could always throw a "performance issues" joke, like Tony Stark from avengers, at him). That was a pretty huge plot hole, the fact that the anbu didn't just drill up through the BUILDING that orochi and sarutobi were fighting on (it was a roof) in order to get around the "barrier" was another plot hole, or just bring the building DOWN... The fact that the second hokage was the one that developed the edo and could BREAK it with a chant at any time, even while controlled... Was ALSO retro-actively added... (but not used here)... Add in the "barrier" that was supposed to be around konoha (and apparently always HAD been) and you see there are a LOT of plot holes in this "crush".

"i don't know what to do"... Seems naruto is a "broken record" that just keeps REPEATING the same thing over and over. He's asked: Hinata, the third, jiraiya, the toads themselves, Kurenai, Anko, Kyuubi, his mother, his father, his brother... SHEEZ how many more times is he just going to repeat the SAME thing? I think he's gotten all the "advice" he's ever gonna get.

What "answers" was naruto looking for? All he kept saying was "why me?"... Well... What if the whole answer IS... "why NOT?"... Or "because it just is"?... OR "random chance"?...OR "our personalities match"?... OR "Because we're tied to your bloodline"?... Those things ALL happen... Sometimes there is NO greater reason then... "it just is".

You got Hiashi acting like an IDIOT... "You two are acting like children"... OF COURSE THEY ARE... He's TREATING THEM AS CHILDREN! He CANNOT have it BOTH WAYS... Either they ARE ADULTS.. And he have NO SAY in them dating! OR they are CHILDREN and he does have a say, and they WILL act like children... He can have ONE OR THE OTHER but not BOTH! That is LOGISTICALLY impossible. Plus as far as them fighting... Why would two people in love, FIGHT each other just for some STUPID exhibition that neither really gives a crap about? It says more to their maturity if they wouldn't have fought AT ALL! It just shows that the OTHER people are far more IMMATURE! (think about it, they pine and pine for loves that they have lost... But would gladly have FOUGHT them to death, if they are put on a stage? How stupid is that?) Seems Hiashi has taken STUPIDITY pills before this chapter.

So dumbed down Anko huh? I mean I appreciate that you DID NOT have naruto hear Kabuto (as he would have KNOWN that he was a spy, the second kabuto started speaking)... But here, you have Orochimaru go straight up to Anko... Get CALLED OUT AT REEKING OF SNAKES (which you already said in an earlier chapter ONLY orochimaru had... And Anko by extension), but anko (who HATES orochi) didn't notice that? Plus the "ninja" used "her" tongue to give back the kunai... when ONLY orochimaru uses that jutsu... Like NOBODY else. anywhere, ever... (probably because of the body modifications) but AGAIN anko doesn't notice? My advice? Drop this interaction COMPLETELY, since it doesn't make sense. It NEVER did. So MANY times during the "konoha crush", orochi and his "side" DROPS THE BALL and displays their ENTIRE hand to konoha, and time and again, in canon the characters fail to notice... Which, kinda makes them functionally retarded. Not smart, competent, scary, paranoid killers! It doesn't make orochimaru look like a "strategic genius".. It makes him LUCKY everyone in konoha has the intelligence of a HOUSEPLANT! You've made better characters till now... PLEASE don't dumb them down to canon, now!

So naruto tells them his "humanity status"? Not "I'm training in the assassin arts"? Which is WHAT THEY WANTED TO KNOW (where he went, why he went away with other jounin), not "I'm the hokage's successor"? Which would explain a LOT MORE... (why he is trained by so many, why he is glared at *jealousy*, why he was taken in by the sarutobi clan... etc)... He picks the ONE AND ONLY thing that can wreck his life the worst, to tell them, when that information has almost NEXT TO NOTHING to do with them AT ALL? Plus, they would never understand why that info should be KEPT secret.. IQ pts continuing to FALL!

"both were wrong"? No, actually naruto never did ANYTHING wrong at all... He was going to die.. He was BEATEN (he was SOMEHOW too slow to keep up with haku, you neutralized his kekkei kenkai, he doesn't KNOW any good "offensive" jutsu... AND he lost his weapon) He was beaten.. DEAD... SOOOO If the devil offers a chance at life? It's NOT a choice (to HELL with konoha), you TAKE IT. Sarutobi needs to realize or naruto needs to tell him.. He just does NOT love konoha like he does... NEVER WILL.. Hokage or not, they will have VERY DIFFERENT "leadership styles"... (if you can even CALL what sarutobi does... "leadership" at all, which I posit, you cannot)... The third cares for konoha as a whole TOO MUCH.. It makes him a weak leader! He wants to "appease" everyone.. Which is an impossibility.

Add to the fact that Minato put the kyuubi in naruto TO USE! It's SUPPOSED to be called on, IN THOSE SITUATIONS... Otherwise, naruto would NOT have even been made INTO a jinchuriki... (although he was already PART jinchuriki.. Or part kitsune, depending how you look at it).. So sarutobi was ENTIRELY in the wrong (AGAIN). Surprising how he can be SO WRONG, on so many levels simultaneously.

With Ino? No matter what she or any other girl tried, nobody could break his cold exterior? You know what's beyond that? A cold INTERIOR. It's relatively IDENTICAL to the exterior, except now he might consider killing them to get the M. Sharringan... Altogether a very hate-able, villain character. (very superficially written... But it's a villain character, you don't really have to go "deep" there).

The uchiha's "trauma" has always struck me as VERY "weak sauce", because A LOT of characters in the series have nearly IDENTICAL backstories but they aren't treated as anything special... The uchiha clan were LOONEY TUNES from the jump.. Madara was the progenitor and the dude has some SERIOUS SCREWS LOOSE... There is absolutely NOTHING about the entire CLAN that I would deem "redeemable" or "noble"... With every single generation EVENTUALLY flipping out over some immature or asinine reason or other. So nah, never saw the "dichotomy" of yin and yang between naruto and sasuke... If nothing else, it should be naruto and kurama that are the yang and yin focus.

"the uchiha charm"? ROFL... First Mizuki an "elite chunnin", now the uchiha having ANYTHING except "nonexistent" charm... I've actually had a few CHUCKLES at this story. The uchiha have about as much "charm" as a rabid, disease ridden, HAGFISH.
