![]() ![]() ![]() A very lovely chapter. Really enjoying your story. Very well written and wonderful to read Gilbert’s point of view. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Woo glad I found this. I never read the novels but I saw the movies and while the Netflix series has been at times disturbing it’s also very interesting and emotional - I’m feeling rather addicted. Thanks for sharing this lovely story of yours |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh I LOVED THIS! |
![]() ![]() So I'm only on chapter 18 but your Monty Python jokes are cracking me up! he's pinning for the fjord's! |
![]() ![]() Please do more of this! |
![]() ![]() Can someone please write about capt. Morgan harris! Sigh |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you for this chapter. This inspires me to continue on writing my own manuscript (scientific manuscript) i wish scientific journal articles are as entertaining as novels are for me. If that was the case, i would surely ace on my studies. Being the bookworm I am... nevertheless this chapter about gilbert determined to pursue his studies inspires me more to pursue mine... thank you for reliving his character |
![]() ![]() ![]() Thank you so much for writing gilbert's POV. i just finished reading the books and I really cant get over it yet... Anne's story is timeless and you gave justice in making Blythe spirit in accordance with Anne's... every moment of this beloved coupla flashes back sweetly while reading youre story. Im so fan girling over this... Im glad that it is already finished, allowing me to binge read it... but it also makes me sad that I can't fan girl at the same time with the others... anticipating every chapter update... I wish i could've been a part of this fandom sooner.. P.S. reading the title Blythe spirit, i cant help but automatically think about the blythe family... im already used to anne being referred to as Mrs. Doctor or Mrs. Blythe... I really love the title of this story |
![]() ![]() Hey fellow Bay Area girl! Great story, love Gilbert's point of view. Can't wait for the romance. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love the addition of the Keats excerpt, at the beginning; coincidentally, one English lesson back in 1988 (when my Anne-obsession was at its peak) included a reading of La Belle Dame Sans Merci AND The Lady of Shalott! I can believe Gilbert would eavesdrop on the girls: he's seen hiding behind a tree-trunk, observing them, during a scene in the Sullivan mini-series. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Absolutely amazing, I wish I could find this on amazon to download to my kindle. I have always pictured what the story of Anne of Green Gables would be like from Gilbert's point of view and therefore eagerly look for pieces written from his pov. He has always been my literary crush (I could not convince my hubby to let me name our son after Gilbert Blythe though, sigh) |
![]() ![]() I love this story! So simple but so interesting! I adore all your literary comparisons and references woven in-really, really wonderful. Always lovely to hear Gilbert's voice! |
![]() ![]() I love p&p! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've always felt bad for Gilbert, but this makes me so much more sympathetic. Poor Gilbert. |
![]() ![]() You are a wonderful human being |
