This is the only piece of FanFiction that truly made me laugh out loud and bawl my eyes out. It's truly beautiful and well structured. I can see why it's listed as one of the best ever BBRaes. I cannot fully describe how much I enjoyed the tale you spun, just know you have one more person who's in love with this story.

After re-reading this story for the upteenth time, I just wanted to let you know that this story is so beautiful in so many ways. The first way is the emphasis of family. In this story family is more than just a biological thing, it's a relationship thing. The main focus of the story is in fact the librarian's children. With Rachel and Gar's relationship being secondary. The second is the gradual progression in Gar and Rachel's relationship in terms of friendship and romance. Gar's character as a whole is something that I truly adore! His feelings for Rachel were genuine but his feelings for the children and their well-being were genuine as well. He put his feelings on the back burner and continued to impact them children because he honestly cared for them. The third aspect is the reality of the financial situation that Rachel was in. That some people only have means to barely get by. When most people write AUs, regardless of any fandom, the main characters tend to live lashishly. Whether they start off that way or end that way. In this story, they didn't go off and buy a huge house or anything like that. They put the money towards education and I'm pretty sure towards other necessities. Lastly, I appreciate the cameos of other DC characters throughout the story. I love how you incorporated some events from the show.

I can understand why you don't write anymore. Although my stories weren't the greatest (considering the fact that I was in 8th grade when I wrote them), life happens, reality sets in. You have your own eventual dream of being published and by all means go for it! Your writing is exceptional and you can truly understand each character. Your story was simply amazing! I usually avoid the romance genre like a plague, but your story is one of my few exceptions. The plot is a bit unconventional, but you managed to make it suit your tale just about perfectly. The progression of the love aspect was as gradual as is to be expected from Raven, and was definitely in character for her. The family scenes with the children were simply heart warming and the back stories are definitely fleshed and not at all flat.

All in all, it was a truly wonderful read. :D

I have got to say, this is one of the most wonderful stories I have read in a really long time. Your story and descriptions and plot and characters and everything... I am honestly in awe. You built on Gar and Rae's friendship first, adding a hint of romance and such as you went along, and the ending was more than well worth it. I am very lucky to have found this story, and to have read it. Please keep up the amazing work, you are incredibly talented!

I just want to say, even though it's been years sense this story finished. I don't want it to end! I actually hate when there is a flash forward to years later when their married and have kids after their first kiss. I want to read about how everyone reacted, how Rachel let Garfield sleep in her bed after a while, how they got a new bed (Ayyyyy), Kori and Richard's wedding, how the kids might call Gar Dad someday, Gar proposing, and so much more.

If your even still on this site writing. I beg you for a squeal. Or those missing years chapter you talked about.

Not a realistic story but I do like how Gar interacts with the kids.

I am new to this fandon, as in I just discovered it by looking up to your stories but I never thought it would be so catchy. So far, so so good. Everyone is so spot on.
