|Reviews for A Civil Death|
| euromagpie chapter 1 . 7/12
I love this so much; the E/G bits were so sweet with just the right amount of Cardassian banter in it (E/G shippers are suckers for a bit of covert flirting, and me doubly so ;)). I like your incorporation of Ro Laren in there too - she wasn't my fav Bajoran ever (that's Kira) but it's sort of sad she's not in more fics. & really well done with the little murder sub-plot. Considering how big a secret it was for Bashir, it was kind of disappointing how little of an issue his genetic engineering was in the overall show; considering it's Star Trek you'd imagine they'd have jumped on the ethical/philosophical arguments it opened.
But yes, this is wonderful and lovely written and just the right length. Good job x

what a wonderful piece of work. I really thought it was splendid.
| SeverusPotterSnape chapter 1 . 8/24/2014
So kawaii... :-D
| Coyblythe chapter 1 . 6/6/2014
Thanks a lot for writing this, I really enjoyed reading it :)
| Georgie chapter 1 . 8/11/2013
I absolutely loved this!
I'm not a fan of slash but this wasn't too bad on that, it was just subtle and I just loved the twist.
I always thought that some person would go after Bashir because of his enhancements but they never did an episode on that. They REALLY should have, it would have been brilliant ;)
Well done again, I really did enjoy this story
| Varda-Elentari chapter 1 . 1/9/2011
What can I Say? One of the bests fics about Bashir & Garak!
| jolinarrosha livejournal chapter 1 . 7/30/2010
This was a wonderful story! Gods, I've missed my DS9 so much - and you write the snarky, witty interactions between Garak and Bashir so well!
thanks for sharing!
| Rilwen-Shadowflame chapter 1 . 7/21/2009
Very nice. You've a good handle on Garak's 'voice'. Good plot, and interesting ideas.
| Ano-Hitori-Chichi chapter 1 . 6/20/2009
This has got to be the BEST Garak/Bashir fanfic I've ever read! Go you! You had me on the edge of my seat for the entire time! .
| deeply-spaced chapter 1 . 4/5/2009
Wonders never cease. I adore this story. Filled with all the elements I enjoy. Well-written and engaging.
| Anneka Neko chapter 1 . 3/28/2009
Wow... First of all, good story. Like... really good. Like lovelove good.
...ok, see... this story does things to my brain, both good and bad. On the plus side, I now have lovely images of G/B shmex dancing througy my head. On the minus side, I'm now picturing the members of Organization XI stalking the Star Trek universe. ('cept Xemnas. He has lightsabers, so he goes to Star Wars.)
Ya know, I'm not sure why it was so funny... maybe it's the fact that I epically need sleep, or maybe the fact that I had Starbucks earlier... but that reference to Harper cracked me up so much that I LOLed for at least three minutes, nearly knocking my laptop off of my desk and myself out of my chair in the process. ;
| Prowler4 chapter 1 . 3/2/2009
I knew it would be Axel. Actually, it was an outright guess, but I've been told that in most detective scenarios, the culprit is the one you least suspect. With that in mind, Axel's visit to the infirmary that one time, when Bashir found the bruise, made me think "It's him". Elated to know that I was right!
Very good story. I liked the detail on Bashir's examination on his "I-want-to-say-something-important-but-I-don't-know-what-it-is" feeling.
| Xiilnek chapter 1 . 2/7/2009
Oh, that's just... Wonderful. I'm sorry not to be more detailed, but I'm not sure I *could* pick out favorite bits from this. Fan*tas*tic.
| Tay chapter 1 . 8/11/2008
This is a really good story. I especially liked the Andromeda reference you managed to sneak in at the end with the Harperians.
| Thought chapter 1 . 6/16/2008
This was a lovely story, with good characterization and a good plot. And... tell me I wasn't imagining the Andromeda reference. S.Z. Harper...
