Wow, great update. Can't wait for the next one.

I think in this story we need more of an introduction to the alternative universe. Probably the best way to go is to write sections that are happening now and section of things that happened back then. Then we can continue with the plot but also explain it better so that the readers can understand what is happening with this whole new demon in the picture. You seem to have an interesting alternative series of events and can't wait to see what is going to happen next.
