I'm so excited for another Eomer/Lothiriel story. They're perhaps my favorite couple from LOTR. There isn't much written about them and it's so neat to see everyone's perspective on it. I'm so excited. This chapter was really good and i can't wait for more!

So thrilled to see a new story from you! I'm also excited to see the more emotionally tumultuous time frame for this story. Really looking forward to seeing how you deal with all the events we're all so familiar with, which are already in motion at this point.

Also, I already love the characterization you've put in place already for both Eomer & Lothiriel. She reminds me of my favorite version of her from TL&HL, The Lion Tamer. A self assured young woman, aware of the world around her & mindful of the duty of her station/birth, as shown with how she handled the final scene. And seeing Eomer at this pivotal time is really wonderful. He's a different person at this time than when we usually meet him in a E/L story.

Finally, I really liked some of your imagery in the first section in particular. Especially the phrasing you used in regard to movement, horse movement and such. If that made a bit of sense, heh.

Anyway, very much looking forward to seeing how this goes.

Interesting...I liked it actually...though the lothiriel/Eomer meeting resembled a lot how Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli met Eomer.

I think you know this is my favorite of your stories so far. I just love your portrayal of Eomer in this one. So Tolkien! Well

I also like your Lothiriel, who seems to be a woman of her own mind, and your Eomer seems to be just as stern as one would expect him to be during the War.
