As always, your writing is freaking brilliant. Your deep characterizations are just epic. Seriously, it takes talent to make people interact in such fashions. Gurren Lagann, the most large-scale, epic anime ever created, would naturally spawn similarly explosively excellent fanfiction, eh? And...just lol at how distinguished you've made Nia; she's somehow the same but completely different from her anime counterpart. "You should've had sex with me sooner." Nope, can't read THAT with a straight face.

I have to admit it. This story? ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. You've done such an awesome job with this that I can literally imagine this as being a canonically accurate offshoot of the main series. I've dearly enjoyed reading your exploration of a darker Simon, and it's always interesting to read about Anti-Spiral Messenger Nia. Boota's part in all of this is a real treat, too, and all in all, I just want to say that I really, really, really love this story, and I hope the next chapter gets uploaded soon!

So, reading this really did remind me of a mildly darker GL, and even the angst and uprising too. And I am honestly shocked when I remembered the uh- things on that one worship planet were OCs, I mean, it was so natural! I didn't even realize it! And that is hard to write.

As for the other concerns you voiced, Nia is not like her Niaish self yet, but Booba his-face and Simon are right on track like you wanted and just so so awesome. So awesome.

the plot! this is gurren lagann being drawn out into full potential! I finally found it! I have regained faith in humanity and you are THE GOD.

I am bouncing in my seat and have not done any of my homework! Okay for the review part. The writing, characterization, pacing, and the plot in general would be a measly 20/10, while I in particular loved Simon, and his perfectly drawn out angst/characterization without being annoying at all! The Nianess coming through, and I love Booba or what's his name so so much oh wow. And the mutiny! I love how you made everyone do everything, and it was perfectly understandable, lovable, and both sides to boot. That takes skills.

The alien races, the viewpoints and you even somehow made the ridiculous battles in GL so believable and with their intense and insightful characterization. Ah, I'm so happy to find this.

Also, I am so angry at the computer for not magically producing another chapter, it will be so good, with the crew and the Simon /grinning/ and cute booba what-his-name and will Nia ever be lovable to them as well? She does have many charming points, I think, but not as Ms. emotionless. But this is canon as of now because how is it not?
