you could all ways cut the time then have flashbacks when needed hope it's a naruto/anko pairing.

i think you should just cut to the chase and gradualy show his gained powers as time continues and he battles stronger and stronger oponents

I was thinking you may want to have it to where their are two teams. One Anko's age and one Naruto age because of the age difference the time to start their training would be different. It would also be smart to have Jiraiya learn of the Akatsuki by him investagating the Kyuubi attack. Juugo is another one you must address because he looked to Orochimaru for help and in turn he was able to make the curse seal from his finding. You may want to add an enemy that is the same as Orochimaru in terms of evil (think about the can of worms he opened with the attack).

I say cut to the return to Konoha, use flashbacks to show anything you really want to show about the growing up years. I hope this fic will go NaruHina, you write it so well but we haven't seen much of it in Konoha Exiles due to them being apart and the war...
