This. Was. Adorable. Loved all of it! Loved that John was a good guy. Didn’t get mad at the boys. Had a good teaching moment with dean and gave sam some attention and affirmation. It was sweet that the boys were trying to take care of each other and I loved that Sam got to land the winning punch so to speak. John’s confusion and thinking surely it must have been dean was super cute too!

This story is so lovely. I love the idea of a young Dean having to come to terms with Sam growing up and not being a baby anymore. I think you've done a great job of showing all of their reactions, and the family dynamic. Thank you for sharing!

I'm not a big SPN fan (too graphic to watch in front of the kids, so when I do get to see an episode, I've missed so many other episodes that it doesn't make sense), but this works. Naturally, John's standards of behavior, especially re fighting, would be different from the principal's. His boys gave as good as they got, they backed each other up, and they weren't so efficiently violent as to incapacitate the other kids and thus attract unwanted attention. Therefore, they did well, and have earned pizza. Not how I would react as a mother, but I'm not training my kids in a very rough family business.
