It's a shame you abandoned this story. I don't want to overrate it the way my nostalgia would like me to and say it's perfect, but it was a damn good read. You did a really great job of getting me invested in events I already knew long enough to get to the part where significant changes began happening and it got even more exciting. I really enjoyed all of the character interactions, the way Harry's relationship with his 'family' ended up, the way the plot was heading . . .

I'm genuinely very disappointed I'll never get to see where you were going with it and where the story was meant to end; even if that was only going to be a few more chapters as per your profile, or twice the length of what exists now and forevermore. I'm sad I'll never see events that were heavily foreshadowed, such as Harry embracing Summer Fire and his less than human side or the continuation of his relationship with Aurora. I especially like Aurora. You built her character practically from the ground up and made her genuinely likable while still being cold, manipulative, and constantly scheming.

In any case, I come back to the story every couple months and enjoy it every time. It didn't end in a terrible place despite the minor cliffhanger and I can at least imagine for myself what happens soon after. Like almost anyone still commenting on this story, I do wish you'd continue it; but I fully understand that if you dropped it, it was likely for a good reason and that any chance you'll come back to it at this point is vanishingly small. I wish you well in whatever you're doing in life at this point. I'm sure I'll be back here in another few months.

Ahhhhh I’m rereading this for probably the third time and I would LOVE to see it continued. I don’t know what’s going on in your life right now, but even though I’ve never read the Dresden Files, I think you have melded these worlds so brilliantly, and I desperately want more. Your characters are engaging, plot thrilling, and prose lovely. If you ever decide to come back to this project, you’ll have at least one eager reader.

This was great, the kind of great that makes you not even want to search for something alike because of it0s unlikelyhood of existence.

A bit too much tone whiplash and silly stuff, too crackish to really be immersive.

The attempt at humour should be toned down a tad. Especially those regarding the romantic bit, from the movie reference, to a movie few people would have seen nowadays, and ridiculous blackmail, to the talk about heirs, it just felt flat.
