I think this is perhaps the best fanfic ive ever read. i was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Eyes wide open. exitedly theorizing about every chapter.

i love how well you understood the characters and your grasp on psychoanalysis. You made these characters really feel like children and your oc feel like an integral part of the canon. the weight of the effort you've poured into this fic really shines through. I adore this. i adore you.

its unlikely another update will ever happen, but I thank you for the experience of reading what youve made until now.

What an incredulous coincidence

Its always a pleasure to reread a fanfic that I loved for many years and remember how I enjoyed waiting for each chapter. This is one of the few sonic x stories that I never get tired of and Im grateful for how amazingly well you wrote the characters and how gripping the story is even after all these years. With all my heart, I truly hope that things have gone well for you these past years. Its highly unlikely that you'll see this or want to update the story after that amazing cliffhanger, but its good to have some hope. :) Thank you again for this amazing story and if you ever did decide to finish this I'll be forever grateful.

of course the only good sonic fic ive ever come across (it's baffling how hard it is to find any that fit my standards) is left on a massive cliff hanger and hasn't been updated in yearsㅠ.ㅠ i know you wont update, but I'll follow the story anyway because im a hopeful idiot. but that's ok, you have a life, and i hope it's happy and healthy

This has been a good read. Starting out as something of a character study, and segueing quite nicely into a gripping and suspenseful story. Characterization feels spot-on too. I know it's unlikely the story will be finished, but if you ever decide to continue I'll be one of the first to read a new chapter.

what a stupid story

There's one thing you're wrong about here: according to Tikal's prayer, which describes the relationship between the Chaos Emeralds, the Master Emerald, and their users, the Chaos Emeralds can be used by any sentient creature, including humans and machines like Metal Sonic, Gemerl, and, presumably the E-series robots, as they "turn our thoughts into power," i.e. warp reality to make the desires and thoughts of its wielder a reality itself. They can also be used as power sources for facilities, machinery, and non-sentient robots with the right technology as, according to Tails, they are sources of "unlimited mystic power."
It's just that seeing authors buy into and perpetuate the false idea that only Sonic and Shadow can use the emeralds to their full potential is a pet peeve of mine. The Chaos Emeralds wouldn't be half as dangerous as they really are if the only people who could use them were two hedgehogs, that's all. Otherwise, the history of strife associated with the possession of these gems would be unwarranted.

BTW, I saw that coming too.

holy crap this is the best sonic X fic I've ever read. i know it's been about 3 years since an update, but i reaaaally hope you haven't abandoned tihs, it's so -great-.

I cant tell you how much I loved this. your character Ella is amazing. I love that her character shows what a normal person would do in each and every situation. my fave part was when they were trying to get chris back and a gun was being pointed at her. she didn't automatically know how to fight or even try to kick butt like how most people would make there character do. instead she did the natural thing and was frozen with fear. I especially love that she is meant to be an older woman that is in a way connected in all of this. (I especially love that she isn't falling head over heals in love with any of the other characters) she is just a simple woman trying to survive like any normal human and that is what I love about this story. I hope you can continue with it because I would love to see how it ends.
