Quality is a bit subpar.

Seeing Rorschach with a minigun is a very pleasing image.

Ah... now I remember now why I stopped reading this story after chapter 45. It was a pretty great story for the first part but then you had to make "OP" villains that are immune to plot devices and death just to keep this story going. You could've stopped here and maybe just do canon arcs with a twist but You bit more than you could chew and this story went. Alittle out of control after that chapter. I'll still read it to jog my memory but eh, you tried to add too many things and it just got messy

This makes me so happy seeing Walter just murder all the scum of the DC Universe.

Rorschach is one of the best anti-heroes. I think he and Punisher would get along well.

A point that should be addressed too, is that this whole crapsack rant that your story goes into, is insane and devoid of humanity. Alan Moore wrote Rorschach to be a mental character, he's got a point some times, but he's by all means not "the righteous one". It's idiotic to think of a justification for brutality and death sentence as the solution for all. Just because the Joker and his cronies have it coming doesn't mean you can behead a kid for stealing a quick buck to feed himself or family. If Rorschach, Moore's Rorschach were to look at this depiction of him in his own story, he'd be sure to vomit. This take on Rorschach has a lower moral ground than Jigsaw.

Okay, at this point I can say that a lot of the dialogue is nothing short of rehashed bits from previous chapters... albeit in a verbatim form. It's starting to make me want to beat my head against the wall at this point.

I don't suppose you might want to go back and edit this to make it more original, would you?

Yeah, I think I've read a fair amount of the *true* 'unbreakable' soldiers are just plain sociopaths. Can't be traumatized if you lack the wiring to BE traumatized. That's not a great thing once they're returned to the civilian population with knowledge of how to kill...

And that's why I say DC is a crapsack world. Villains can act with impunity because they know they'll always make it back. They're not Karma Houdini, they're Karma Wolverines. No matter how much you knock them down, they just keep regenerating...

Rorschach is much too long-winded, I admit. I also think he's kinda OOC.

Oh well, onwards to see how many chapters of Gotham-purging action remain before it gets boring...

DC is equally crapsack. We just see what it looks like after the 'heroes' are done cleaning up and all the nasty bad men are put away.

Joker's probably killed some six-year-olds. He's a mass murderer - I'm sure he doesn't carefully ensure no children or infants are ever caught in the situations he sets up. It just doesn't get reported because that would be too ~controversial~.

I'm surprised Rorschach didn't just get mistaken for a new rising villain, actually. As you point out, all that he does happens a lot in Gotham. The only difference is that he's targeting the usual perpetrators.

Ah, come on. It's not that bad. Bruce is the one who hoards all sorts of bizarre stuff 'because he might need it someday'. It's just because of comicbook logic that it ACTUALLY comes in handy rather than being his weird genderflipped equivalent of accumulating a bajillion pairs of shoes.

'But, Master Bruce, you haven't used the Kryptonian reverse-polarity antimatter death ray (activated only if Superman sneezes on the far side of the moon during a planetary alignment while Wonder Woman is simultaneously doing the samba in Australia during election season) in TEN YEARS now! Why do you insist on keeping it prominently displayed-'

Heh. I'm surprised Rorschach, as long as he's misreading the situation based on what's publicly known, didn't latch on to a decadent playboy taking in two orphaned boys. That's the classic "WTF is going on in there?" misinterpretation...
