![]() ![]() ![]() Lovely work! Humor with a touch of poetry to it! Very nicely done! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lovely :) |
![]() ![]() I've always tried to avoid thinking about Jack at the End because it's just too sad, but you've just fixed that for me. This is totally going to be my headcanon from now on. |
![]() ![]() Sweet. I really enjoyed this. Thanks |
![]() ![]() This fic is 11 years old... I remembered it just now and found it with a very specific Google search (discworld doctor who crossover jack harkness death) and it's close to as good as I remember |
![]() ![]() ![]() Huh... a universe with Jack Harkness as creator God... I think I can get behind that. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wonderful! 3 :) |
![]() ![]() Neat! |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was cool. |
![]() ![]() ![]() And Jack Harkness saves the universe. Go Jack. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Brilliant! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Beautiful. I think this one word sums the story. It was very well written, entertaining and moving. I really like stories about Death and Jack in crossovers, but they're almost always the standard humour story, this one was so much better than all of them. Thank you for the great read. |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was brilliant. I started laughing out loud (at work, because I was reading this instead of actually working) when I got to the section where they play Risk. Had to try and explain to my office mates what I was doing without sounding like I wasn't working. |
![]() ![]() ![]() very very interesting and also rather Terry Pratchett-y. Loved the description about the Universe having to work things out by itself especially this part: "or tells them that asteroids are perfectly normal and nothing worry overmuch about" and the whole 'clinging with a childish terror' made me think of it as an adorable sort, which frankly is the sort of thing Pratchett's writing usually inspires about the weirdest things too. Some of it I got confused over, this part especially I'm not sure I get/understand at all (help) : "of him as the fixed point that made the universe finite, by his paradoxical nature" (huh?). Also, did I read that right? The kiss of Death or the 'meeting of Death to a person of everlasting Life' was how to kill Jack anyway? One more thing what game is the one where they talk of Jack winning by owning Russia? Never heard of that one before? The ending, can't help but feel sorry for him not getting that break, then again he's probably got a bit of one wile the universe's grow right? He'd get bored if left too long :p Anyway, abstract and unusual but oh so very very satisfying _! |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was incredibly sweet, and oddly profound. Very well done. T |
