| Astrid Goes For A Spin chapter 1 . 10/25/2012
Wow. This gave me goosebumps. Splendid. Wonderful. Unspeakably ingenious. You captured something purer, something natural and wild about bending and humans. For the first time, I didn't see the characters in cartoon (and I'm an Avatar veteran). Instead, I saw them in our world.
Magnificent. I especially liked the insight about jumping. :)
| Kaori chapter 1 . 6/6/2009
Wow! Extremely powerful and well-written. I love how you went through the four elements.
| Alliriyan chapter 1 . 4/14/2009
I love all your ideas XD
They're a lot like mine, but better.
| KrisEleven chapter 1 . 11/16/2008
Really, really good. I loved the slight repetition to the stories- it was enough to have beautiful structure without being at all boring. This was excellently written, with great use of language for the different descriptions of their 'sight'.
| TheWestDriver chapter 1 . 10/28/2008
This is possibly the most clever idea that I've ever read in Avatar-verse. Even your OCs were well done and the writing suited them all beautifully. Great job!
| Stormdancing chapter 1 . 7/2/2008
wow, that was really good! it was really well written, and a really good idea. normally i don't like stories with OCs, but this was really good
| JESUSFREAK-And-Proud-Of-It chapter 1 . 4/20/2008
I liked how you used the repitition in the representitives of all four nations. - was blind, yet he/she could see. Interesting use of 'vibrations.' I never really thought of how hearing is like vibrations through the air, and the way you expanded the sense of touch and feel among the elements was both beautiful and eye-opening. Good job!
| angelic lily chapter 1 . 4/20/2008
Wonderfully insightful. The details of each element with its own unique properties manipulated to benefit a blind bender is amazingly well done.
| Miyiku chapter 1 . 4/20/2008
| Ogro chapter 1 . 4/20/2008
Ahh! Another one of your great stories! Another excellent idea, and it was written so well and so powerfully and so *believably*... Man, any character in the show could have been blind and it would have worked.
The only one that's a bit of a stretch is the airbender, but i like how she discovered sound and used it, and how they all used their new bending in creative ways. Toph was the first to discover metalbending... so were they the first to discover their other advanced types of bending? It's very interesting and ironic that it was all blind people.
I really liked the firebending idea and how they could see the heat and identify people that way... it's the precursor to heat vision... excellent. And the waterbender sensing each vein in a person's body was also amazing.
To top it all off, you had an excellent use of language, as you always do. You are truly a gifted author.
| XxEternalMercuryxX chapter 1 . 4/20/2008
Absolutely amazing! You must write more Avatar fics! :):) Soo awesome...*goes into lala land conjured up by the awesomeness* Bye!
| AssaultSloth chapter 1 . 4/20/2008
Way cool. I got the point pretty early on and wondered how you could possibly make up a form of vision for each element, but indeed you pulled it off beyond my expectations.
All kinds of neat. Excellent job.
