So, I've been following this story from the very beginning. I clearly remember asking that she be killed off. I specifically remember you saying that that was not the direction that the story was going. It took a few chapters, but I totally agreed with your decision.

Now this. I feel so bad. You actually did this very nicely. I had no idea what was coming (sneaky you!) and was rather saddened by it all.

As hard as this is for Byakuya and Ichigo, it's her captain's reaction to this that I appreciated reading. I had completely forgotten about Shiba's death and the impact it had not only Ukitake but also on the squad as a whole. He's right, some might think he's cursed (but I won't ;))

In any event, I look forward to the next update. My only question is whether or not Ichigo ever "mailed" the documents back. I know it took him a while to sign them but I remember something coming up (the birth of Renji/Orihime's child?) that prevented him from actually sending them off. Somehow, this might be a mixed blessing since then the divorce was never finalized (I'm guessing that's how it would work, right?)

wow i honestly didn't it coming ... mmaybe just some major injuries but certainly not dead ... and due to the divorce paper not sent ... it actually makes Ichigo a widower instead, right? .. that was a rather sad chapter and i'm sure it will turn out alright in the end :)

I knew Rukia was going to die by just reading your warning. I was like: Oh you're going to kill Rukia aren't you. Well I didn't cry (very odd since I cry for all the other chapters). I feel really bad for the children. The twins will never know their mother. It is very ironic that Rukia survived Aizen but not Hollows. They are like bacteria that keeps on developing. Jyuushiro, I almost cry for him. You're doing great. But all this angst is getting to me. Please update soon! I would like something happy please. Write a one-shot or something.

I'm guessing that there is going to be a conspiracy theory that byakuya and ichigo made the trap to get rid of rukia...

I am sorry for reviewing so late, I have just recieved the message telling me you updated.

I really liked this chapter. after all the heart wrenching ones, this one offered a moment of rest. It was well written, especially the difference in the atmosphere as soon as a new person comes in or a new person comes in. Since it is a situation most people are familiar with it is hard to write in a way that stays loyal to reality but you mastered this challenged perfectly.

More so, Ichigo's conflict because of his divided feelings is again very close to reality. The fact that he will always have a portion of feelings for Rukia is, for me, very sensible since they both never really wanted to part and so have no real reasons to be angry towards each other.

I thought Byakuya was in character without flaws, even if eavesdropping and spying isnt something he would do on a regular basis, but you pointed that out.

Finally I was glad you mentioned Jyuushiro being at ease that it wasnt him passing on his sickness to Syaoran, since I had been wondering the same, and I have a particular liking for this character.

So I can only wish for you to update soon again!

The best I have read. I really do not understand why you made the warnings as the story is well written. Do not doubt that you have good writing skills. Anyway, so far, you are one of the few who writes normal stories about supernatural characters and how they would normally behave, minus the slash of course.

I'm glad to see Ichigo and Rukia actually trying to become friends again, and that the pain is lessening in each of their hearts. Just when I thought I could put the Kleenex up, you get me with the arising drama or tension between Byakuya and Ichigo. How cruel! I felt so bad for Ukitake, but I'm glad he realized that he didn't infect Sayoran. I'm hoping that you don't have the Hollow problem as a catalyst to keep Byakuya and Ichigo apart further or maybe to get them closer together...hm? Keep up the great work!
