Very interesting story. I really enjoy reading your characterization of Harry, it's very well done. I've found a few of his reactions quite amusing, particularly in this chapter, and your take on the other characters has so far added nicely into the background on Harry's time in the magical world. I've seen several fics with an eerily intelligent Harry, but I think you pull it off remarkably, and he never feels too advanced for his age and experience. I do hope we'll get to see Harry find something he's truly passionate about though - is his reaction to Remus leading up to something like that? Harry's mini-rant to Voldemort when they first met was rather amusing, so I hope we'll see his character pushed a little to show more of his thoughts and emotions, where we then get to see others reactions to them.
I was really sad to see how long it has been since you've updated, but I assume real life or something like that has probably come knocking! Hope you get the time and inspiration to continue this (Prime Minister Potter does sound fascinating), I'll certainly be keeping an eye out for any further updates!

aww damn. judging by your author note next chapter should be very interesting. but it's been about 6 years since this was updated - could this be abandoned? i hope you come back to this fic some day. i'm always on the look out for a ruthless and independent harry.

i would love to see someone like dumbledore enter harry's Antartica mindscape. wonder if he can freeze enemies to death and/or strike them with the lightning.

well if harry is a psychopath then i suppose his interaction with others comes off as a bit stiff and fake. his interest with hermione is a bit cliche though. please don't tell me she's going to be his moral compass and he is going to fall in love ad protect her and all that fluff. i prefer the harry that i am seeing - ruthless, selfish, independent and immoral. i do so love anti-heroes.

harry's mature language normally doesn't bother me but imagining an 11 year old speaking the way he did when he first met su li and padma was weird. it comes off as rather pretentious and reminds me of draco malfoy. also, seems a bit convenient that harry and voldeort would so easily come to an accord. i suppose in your story voldemort isn't nearly as insane and blinded by rage and hatred? still, i imagine someone like voldemort wouldn't make deals with children. surely he isn't just going to leave harry alone that easily?
